    Streamlined "od!

,ind Dow through the bod* of a car is called

air which has a suitable shape that %ini%iBes the

he car/s shape is sharp at the front and is thic

at the %iddle which graduall* decreases in

    called strea%lined bod* in ph*sics 0 which issi%ilar to a sh/s bod* . 5ow can a sh swi% in

water with the %ini%u% resistance fro% water -

It is due to a strea%lined bod* . he sa%e

concept is applied to the car in order to reduce

friction fro% air 0 thus creating a car bod* with

    least resistance .

    Bernoulli *s rincile

!ernoulli s principle states that pressure of air

increases when speed of air decreases and vice

verse. his principle is applied when designing

the car/s bod* especiall* the front and rearspoilers .he spoilers are curved downwards .

his will cause air on above spoilers to Dow

slowl* and cause high pressure . his causes the

bod* of the car to be r%l* intact to the trac

and prevents lift . If lift is produced it will cause

air Dow at other region of the bod* unstable

which will result in increasing drag .
