Team Psych - GIve Back!
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Cycle for Life
October 22, 2011 at Longleaf Town Center
How can you give back?
Join the Team - Go to the team psych web page and click on the link
under the “give Back” section. This will take you directly to our
page for Cycle for life. You can join the team and ride 25, 56 or 85
miles for a great cause.
Raise the Flag - Our goal is to raise $1000 for this event. Even if
you cant ride with the team you can donate any amount you would
like
through the same link mentioned above.
That’s not enough!!!! Well, if you need to see your name (or business
name) on a mile marker and really support Cystic Fibrosis Founda-
tion,
a $500 donation will get you that. Contact Sharon at
[email protected] to get set up.
SO, let’s make El Fuego proud!! Donate your time (and clock in
some
nice milage), donate your money or both. THis
is a really great cause
that benefits children and families in our area
who are living with
Cystic FIbrosis.

Family Information: I was born and raised in
South Florida. I have one older brother, a
twin sister and a younger sister. I moved to
Tampa to attend USF and decided to stay.
Married (wife Mary), son (Corbin) and
daughter (Kelli).
If I wasn’t a: Service Manager with ATT, I
would be a Pilot.
Passions outside Triathlon: Aviation, family
Key Race or goal for the season: I’m doing
my first ½ ironman in Augusta GA, on Sept
26th.
Athletic history before triathlon: I ran in a
few marathons, including the Marine Corp
Marathon in Washington DC.
Triathlete for how many seasons: 2nd season
Currently my bike is a: Scott S60
My dream bike is a: Trek Speed Concept 9.9
Philosophies: “Never judge a book by its
cover”, (especially when sizing up your
competition at a race).
Biggest obstacle I overcame in becoming a
triathlete: Learning how to do a flip turn.
What is your greatest triathlon moment or
story: My funniest story is I bought my first
bike online. I mentioned to Mark Davis that
it had arrived however the pedals were miss-
ing. When Mark picked himself off the floor
(from laughing), he informed me pedals are
purchased separately and the reasons why.
What inspires me is: Seeing
someone with a physical disabil-
ity compete in a triathlon.
Philosophies/Quotes/Mottos:
I have fought the good fight, I
have finished the race, I have
kept the faith.
My favorite part about triathlon
is:The free beer.
Guilty Pleasures: Sleeping in &
chocolate
What drew you to Team Psych?:
Keeping myself in shape, group
of good people, positive energy
& the free t-shirt.
Editors Note: One of the rea-
sons I am so glad Keith was
elected is because he delivers
the energy that makes this team
special. On countless occasions
he has donated hours of time to
help his community at Tampa’s
first Soldiers ride, at Youth Tri-
athlon Series, Gasparilla Dis-
tance Classic, and at team so-
cials. Thank you so very much
for being a part of this team.

Saturday Group Ride This is a good ride. It doesn't matter if you are an A or B rider. Its up and back, cant get lost. We will do a short ride for B riders with few miles and modest speed, and a longer ride for ad-vanced riders. Come meet other members. Learn skills. You have all the time to ride by your-self, but it isn't ever going to make you go faster or longer than you already are
. This Ride is powered by Mix 1 Sam-
ples available to all team members.
