How is it possible to add on Shizen Gyoun Rysui? It isbecause the Taihen Ukemi Gata in 1 - 8 are natural

Ukemi does not refer to the we must avoid any injuries!feeling Judo and Aikido. You should understand it as a bodywhich receives and remains standing, a Ukemi of selfprotection. In other words, it is possible to grasp the truenature of Ukemi. Ukemi are self defence. It is important topurse the essence of Ukemi by examining the natural form oftrue combat, where self protection includes both evasivecounters and methods of attack. Kuhen no kata is a name foran infinite, natural form, and could probably be callednatural Ukemi taihen jutsu for the sake of survival.

KEN TAI NO ICHI JOThe body and fist as one

The entire body movement and energy is used behind a punch.Just moving the body makes the punch more devastating. Thereis no need to rely on muscle tension.

SOSHIN GO-KEI GO GYO NO KATAFundamental training routines of the 5 elemental

    manifestations

Shoshin Go-kei Go Gyo no Kata is based on the five elementsof Sanshin no Kata (Chi, Sui, Ka, Fu, and Ku). It is either

  • more commonly known as Sanshin no kata or Soshin no kata. This is a three step movement done with the heart of a threeyear old child. The Japanese believe that we keep this threeyear old heart until we are 100 years old.

For Sanshin, Hatsumi uses the Kanji for 3 hearts, Takamatsuused the Kanji for 3 fingers.
