HISTORY of THE HOLY ROSARY
The Three Standard Mysteries of The Most Holy Rosary, the heavenly gift of roses – The Joyful,
Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries were traditionally used since the time of its inception as given by Our
Blessed Virgin Mother to St. Dominic in Prouille, France in 1208. The claim of place and time are most strongly
supported by the tradition of the Dominican Order. Pope Leo XIII affirmed over and over the Dominican origin
of the Rosary and in a letter to the Bishop of Carcassonne (1889), he accepts the tradition of Prouille as the
place where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Dominic, revealing this devotion. The tradition that Mary
first revealed the Rosary devotion to St. Dominic is supported by 13 popes (from ‘St. Dominic and The Rosary’ by
Robert Feeney).
This historical fact is brought up to dispel the claims of the „liberal, progressive and modernist‟ Catholics who
come up with their different versions of the origin of the Holy Rosary devotion. Like those who believe only
when they see what they want; they do not see any solid, concrete evidence, i.e. paintings, sketches, etc. of the
event. They believe in “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Since they could not see what they are looking
for with their eyes, then they surmise and hypothecate on the origins of the Holy Rosary. Some even credit a
Mideast religion for the origin of the holy beads. Now we know why the present leaders of our Church have
gone astray. Roman Catholic Tradition, which is without too much “black and white”, visible, concrete
evidence, is something they could not believe in because their eyes could not see it. They do not have faith, the
theological faith that comes from God alone. “For we walk by faith, and not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
ORIGIN OF THE ‘LIGHT or LUMINOUS MYSTERY’
A Vatican II conciliar pope, John Paul II (JPII) introduced in October 2002 a new mystery called the ‘Light Mystery or Luminous Mystery’ in addition to those originally handed down to St. Dominic by Our Lady. The
sophistry of his explanation in adding the new set of mystery had the world believing in his „devotion‟ to the
Holy Rosary. His explanation was that there is a ‘gap’ in the coverage of the life of Jesus in the original Three
Standard Mysteries, notwithstanding the fact that the original mysteries are commensurate to the number of

the Old Testament Psalms. Even before the formal introduction of this new mystery, the author had already
seen the diabolical twist that he was introducing, because the proposed mystery he „floated‟1 around the world
in the late 1990‟s before the actual introduction of his ‘Light Mystery or Luminous Mystery’ were similar to
those meditations written by St. Louis De Montfort for the Fifth Joyful Mystery. The author had used these
meditations for years before the „floating‟ of the proposed ‘Light Mystery or Luminous Mystery’. This we will
show later in this treatise.
THE 150 PSALMS OF DAVID = THE 150 HAIL MARYS OF THE ORIGINAL MYSTERIES
The rosary is the embodiment of the Psalms of King David of the Old Testament, of which there are 150
Psalms. As the universe with all its trillions of stars and galaxies are fixed in number together with the fixed
volume of water and air on earth and will remain unchangeable till the end of time according to God‟s creative
design, so are the number of Psalms is fixed at 150 forever according to His salvific plan.
The 150 Psalms are widely accepted as the veiled prophecies of the lives of Jesus and Mary, which the Rosary
also signifies. Jesus noted this to His disciples on the road to Emmaus: “And beginning at Moses and all the
prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures, the things that were concerning Him.” (Luke 24:27)
The number 150 corresponds to the 150 Hail Marys of these Three Original Mysteries (10 Hail Marys per
mystery X 15 mysteries) = 150. There being Three Persons in The Divine Unity, the number of Psalms/Hail
Marys are easily apportioned to The Holy Trinity in a whole number [150 3 (corresponding to The Three
Persons of The Holy Trinity) = 50].
The introduction of the new mystery, the so-called ‘Light Mystery or Luminous Mystery’, is inappropriate,
because the number of the Hail Marys would increase to 200, which when divided by the same number 3,
would give us an infinitesimal quotient of the number, 66.666... = (200 3). This number is the same
number ascribed to the ‘beast’ in the Book of Revelations (Apocalypse) 13:18; thus the addition and
recitation of the Light Mysteries is a direct affront to God by also honoring the „beast‟, i.e. the Anti-Christ!
JPII by equating himself to the Mother of God, the origin and giver of the Holy Rosary, revealed extreme
malfeasance in his duties.
THE BLESSED VIRGIN IS SECOND ONLY TO GOD, IN HOLINESS, POWER AND GLORY
It is widely accepted by all theologians that all the holiness of all saints and angels combined could not come
close to the holiness of the Great Mother of God. All the choirs of angels and all the saints in heaven serve their
Queen, our Blessed Mother. She is second in power only to the Blessed Trinity. In the hierarchical order of
things, in Heaven and on earth, the pope is lesser than anyone in heaven. Since everyone serves the Queen, he
could only but serve her also not equate himself to her at all. Who is he to add to the heavenly designs of this devotion? “The servant can not be greater than his master!” (John 15:20)
As St. Michael cried out in his battle with Lucifer, “Who is like unto God!?” then, by the power of God, threw
out Lucifer into the deepest recesses of hell; we, also cry out, “Who is like unto the Mother of God?”; “Who is
holy enough to supplant her works!?” Except for God, nobody but nobody!
1 ‘Floated’ meaning John Paul II issued several press releases or ‘trial balloons’ on his intentions of adding on the original mysteries of our Blessed
Mother. When no outcries were heard, he issued his plagiarisms. Floating is a typical move by the modernists Signatura; just like the abolition of
Limbo as a place for unbaptized children. The successor, Benedict XVI, ‘floated’ the idea that Limbo was never in the Canon of the Catholic Church
several months after his ascendancy to the papacy. When no one was loud enough to object, he issued his dictum. Now, babies are not baptized
early or not at all in the concept that babies should go to heaven because they have not sinned, according to Benedict XVI. As if God is obligated
to change His rule! How many babies now die without the Sacrament of Baptism and could not go to heaven because of this! For all eternity,
they are deprived of seeing the face of God by the abolition of an unproclaimed dogma! He definitely has endangered Catholic’s salvation together
with his own soul!

THE HERETICAL2 TEACHINGS OF THE VATICAN II CONCILIAR POPES
The holiness of this pope has been questioned by many. In fact, his supposed canonization has been greatly
condemned by scholars and Traditional clergy who knew of his past actions, teachings and belief.3 JP II‟s
actions in initiating and promoting a new set of rosary mystery is dubious, and similar to his preaching that
other religions are „good‟ enough as the Roman Catholic Church, in bringing us all to God. Thus, he lowered
the Divinity of his God and Master, Who established the only true and faithful Church on earth, to the level of
the false prophets whom Jesus, Himself, warned us in Matthew 7:15, 24:11 and 24:24.
This equalization of all religions with the Roman Catholic Church falls under INDIFFERENTISM - a grave
heresy and a mortal sin; for it insults the Lord Jesus Christ, His salvific works, especially the establishment of
His One, True Apostolic Church and His Supreme Divinity! To His Supreme Divinity, because He becomes no
different than the eternally damned creatures who try to imitate His works and lead them away from heaven!
By the way, INDIFFERENTISM is no longer even mentioned in the Novus Ordo (NO) Catholic Church in
deference by the Vatican II Council to the other religions. They would rather insult Jesus than offend
the heretics and pagans! Human respect is now paramount over the divinity of God!
A LARCENY BY JOHN PAUL II OF THE LITERARY KIND
Finally, the five mysteries of the Light Mystery were nothing more than a plagiarism, which is the literary or
intellectual theft of another person‟s work. He took five of the ten meditations on the Fifth Joyful Mystery
of the booklet, „How to Say Your Rosary with St. Louis Di Montfort‟, Montfort Publications, Bay Shore, NY to
put together his Light Mysteries.
Let us review the literary theft of JPII. The Fifth Joyful Mystery in that booklet reads as follows:
