Las nuevas registraciones para el Catecismo 2019-2020 ya empezaron. Todos los nuevos estudiantes y aquellos que re-gresan por Segundo año deben de registrar-se en la rectoría durante horas de oficina. Las clases son dos sábados por mes de 8:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m. empezando el 7 de septiembre.

La temporada de verano se acerca, trayendo temperaturas más altas. Sin embargo, queremos recordarles a nuestros feligreses y amigos que se recuerden que deben vestirse con modestia y de manera apropiada para la misa. Es preferible que las muje-
res usen camisas con mangas (debe eliminar los vestidos sin espalda o de corte bajo, las correas de espagueti, las camisetas sin mangas, o cualquier cosa que muestre su diafragma), los vestidos o las faldas deben ser por lo me-nos a la altura de la rodilla; Si usa pantalones, asegúrese de que no tengan agujeros. Además, alentamos a nuestros feligreses masculinos a usar camisas de polo o camisas con botones (debes evitar usar ropa con el logo de los equipos deportivos) y vestir pantalones o caquis (evita usar pan-talones deportivos y jeans con agu-jeros).
Significado Los evangelistas describen al final de los evangelios y al prin-cipio del libro de los Hechos de los Apóstoles, que Jesús "fue elevado al cielo", por lo que los cristianos repetimos en nuestro Credo: "Subió al cielo y está senta-do a la derecha del Padre". Esta afirmación es un modo de hablar para decir que Jesús se fue al Padre, llevando consigo su naturaleza humana. La ida de Jesús al Padre constituyó nuestro cielo. Jesús, al ir al Padre, no entra en un lugar, sino en una nueva dimensión, en donde no tienen sentido nuestras expresiones: arriba, abajo, subir, bajar… Ir al cielo significa, ir a Dios. En el cielo, iremos a unirnos al cuerpo de Cristo resucitado todos los que aceptamos su salvación.

Wniebowstąpienie Pańskie
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: Tak jest napisane: Mesjasz będzie cierpiał i trzeciego dnia zmartwychwstanie, w imię Jego głoszone będzie nawrócenie i odpuszczenie grzechów wszystkim narodom, począwszy od Jerozolimy. Wy jesteście świadkami tego. Oto Ja ześlę na was obietnicę mojego Ojca. Wy zaś pozostań-cie w mieście, aż będziecie uzbrojeni mocą z wysoka. Potem wyprowadził ich ku Betanii i podniósłszy ręce błogosławił ich. A kiedy ich błogosławił, rozstał się z nimi i został uniesiony do nieba. Oni zaś oddali Mu pokłon i z wielką radością wrócili do Jerozolimy, gdzie stale prze-bywali w świątyni, wielbiąc i błogosławiąc Boga.
Łk 24,46-53
Wniebowstąpienie Pańskie Po swym zmartwychwstaniu Chrystus ukazywał się uczniom, zaś czterdziestego dnia na ich oczach wzniósł się do nieba z Gó-ry Oliwnej. Określenie "Wniebowstąpienie Pańskie" po-chodzi z opisu, przekazanego przez św. Łukasza w Dziejach Apostolskich (Dz 1, 9-11). Ewan-geliści piszą o tym fakcie niewie-le. Mateusz w ogóle nie mówi o wniebowstąpieniu, Marek wspomina lakonicznie: "Po rozmowie z nimi Pan Jezus został wzięty do nieba" (Dz 16, 19). Jan wzmiankuje w formie przepowiedni. Miejscem wnie-bowstąpienia Jezusa była Góra Oliwna. Z tej góry, gdzie rozpoczęła się męka Chrystusa, wzięła począ-tek także Jego chwała. Jezus polecił Apostołom, aby nie odchodzili z Jerozolimy, lecz by oczekiwali speł-nienia obietnicy Zesłania Ducha Świętego (por. Dz 1, 4-5). Po powrocie do Jerozolimy Apostołowie "trwali jednomyślnie na modlitwie razem z niewia-stami, Maryją, Matką Jezusa, i braćmi Jego" (Dz 1, 14). Pan Jezus tajemnicą swojego Wniebowstąpienia żył na długo przed jej dokonaniem się. Przy Ostatniej
Wieczerzy wprost zapowiada swoje odejście do nie-bieskiego Ojca. Motywuje nawet konieczność swego odejścia: Wniebowstąpienie jest dniem królewskiej introniza-cji Chrystusa, tryumfem, jaki przygotowuje swojemu Synowi Bóg Ojciec. Stąd wiele radości w tekstach liturgicznych. Jest ono też poręczeniem powtórnego przyjścia Chrystusa: "Ten Jezus, wzięty od was do nieba, przyjdzie tak samo, jak widzieliście Go wstę-pującego do nieba" (Dz 1, 11). Chrystus powróci dla ostatecznego tryumfu dobra: powróci, by oddać swe-mu Ojcu wszystko, by zgromadzić wszystkich i wszystko w Kościele. Wniebowstąpienie jest nie tyl-ko ostatecznym i uroczystym wywyższeniem Jezusa z Nazaretu, ale również zadatkiem i gwarancją wy-wyższenia, wyniesienia do chwały natury ludzkiej. Nasza wiara i nadzieja chrześcijan zostają dzisiaj umocnione i utwierdzone, bowiem jesteśmy zapro-szeni nie tylko do tego, by rozważać własną małość, słabość i ubóstwo, ale także ową przemianę wspa-nialszą aniżeli samo dzieło stworzenia, "przemianę", której Chrystus w nas dokonuje wówczas, kiedy je-steśmy z Nim zjednoczeni dzięki łasce i sakramen-tom. Warto podkreślić, że Pan Jezus wstąpił do nieba nie sam, ale wziął ze sobą wszystkie dusze świętych z otchłani. W czasie rozłąki z ciałem przed swoim zmartwychwstaniem odwiedził je w otchłani i zapo-wiedział im rychłe wybawienie. Dzisiaj spełnia obietnicę i triumfalnie wprowadza je do nieba. Ten dzień jest więc ważnym wydarzeniem dla całego ro-dzaju ludzkiego. Miejsce zbuntowanych aniołów zaj-mują w niebie dusze ludzkie, aby na końcu świata mogły wejść także do chwały ich uwielbione ciała. Na świętowane dziś wydarzenie używamy określenia "wniebowstąpienie", gdyż Chrystus własną mocą wstąpił na niebiosa. Swoją Matkę natomiast, a kiedyś także nas wszystkich, Chrystus zabierze do nieba. Stąd mówimy o "wniebowzięciu".
Pamiętajmy, aby przychodzić na Mszę św. odpo-wiednio ubranym.
Jaką zasadę zastosować, bardzo prostą. Ubieramy się dla Pana Boga a nie aby zaskoczyć innych wiernych lub roz-praszać albo prowokować.
Obiady Niedzielne Wkrótce, bo już w przyszłą niedzielę, rozpoczniemy naszą do-roczną sprzedaż żywności tego lata. Jak co roku prosimy, aby-ście wzięli udział w towarzystwie waszych rodzin w tych obia-dach, aby ekonomicznie pomóc naszej parafii. Daty sprzedaży: 09 czerwca i 30 czerwca, 14 lipca, 4 sierpnia. Saint Boniface Feast day June 5
Boniface, who was bap-tized Winfrid, lived in the eighth century. He was a bril-liant monk in a Benedictine monastery in England. He was the head of a school, but he thought God wanted him to be a missionary. He went to Frisia (Northern Netherlands and Ger-many) to begin his work. A war
forced him to return to England for a few years, but he did not give up. Next, he journeyed to Rome to ask the pope to tell him where to serve. Pope Grego-ry II changed Winfrid’s name to Boniface, which means “a man who does good deeds.” Then he sent Boniface to eastern Germany. For nearly 35 years, Boniface traveled all over Germany, preaching, teaching, and building schools, monasteries, and convents. He went to Rome to report to the pope about his work. There, the pope ordained him bishop and told him to return to Germany to continue missionary work. Boniface invited monks and sisters from England to come and help him. The monastery at Fulda is probably the most famous one started by Boniface. As an old man, Boniface returned to Frisia to work among the pagans. The summer season is approaching, bringing warmer temperatures. How-ever, we want to remind our parish-ioners and friends to please to re-member to dress modestly, and ap-propriately for Mass. It is preferred
for women to wear tops with sleeves (you should elimi-nate backless or low-cut dresses, spaghetti straps, tank tops, or anything that shows your midriff), dresses or skirts should be at least at knee length; if wearing pants, make sure they do not have holes. Also, we encourage our male parishioners to wear polo shirts or button-down shirts (you should avoid wearing clothes with sport teams logos) and dress pants or khakis (avoid wearing sweat-pants and jeans with holes).
The Ascension of the Lord Luke 24:46-53
Jesus is taken to heaven and the disciples remain in Jerusalem awaiting his sending of the Spirit. Background on the Gospel Reading Today is our liturgical celebration of the As-cension of the Lord, when Jesus was taken to heaven on the 40th day after Easter. In Cycle C, our Gospel is taken from the conclusion of the Gospel of Luke. There are similarities in the reports of Jesus' Ascension found in the Synoptic Gospels—Mark, Mat-thew, and Luke. In each account, Jesus assigns his dis-ciples the task of proclaiming the Gospel to the entire world. There are also notable distinctions. In the Gos-pels of Mark and Matthew, the disciples are sent by Jesus to baptize as well as to preach. In Luke's Gospel, however, this commission to baptize is absent. Instead, Jesus directs the disciples to return to Jerusalem to await the fulfillment of his promise to send them the Holy Spirit. Curiously, only Mark and Luke actually report Jesus' Ascension into heaven. Matthew's Gospel concludes with Jesus' promise to remain with his disci-ples forever. Only the Gospel of Mark notes that Jesus ascended to sit at the right hand of God. In noting this, Mark teaches that Jesus' Ascension affirms the glory Jesus received from God after his death and Resurrec-tion. Those who believe in Jesus will be empowered to do what Jesus himself has done. Already in Mark's Gospel, during his ministry, Jesus sent his disciples out to preach, to heal, and to drive out unclean spirits. Now, they are sent again to do these things and more. From his place with God in heaven, Jesus helped his disciples, and he continues to help us as we try to live as his followers. Fathers’ Day will be celebrated on June 16th.

those you wish to remember. The envelopes can be found at all entrances of the church. All Masses on the weekend of June 19th will be for the intention of all Fathers.
