TREASURES FROM OUR TRADITION The Paschal Mystery is the key to our Christian faith: the dying and rising of Jesus that is the pattern of our life. In their first steps on the road of faith, the catechumens feel the cross of glory traced over their eyes, on their lips, across their shoulders, on their ears, over their heart, and on their feet. The mystery is that even death gives way to life for those who are held in the embrace of Jesus. Today, many new Christians arise from the waters of the font. Yet the font is not the destination of their journey. The goal is Pentecost, fifty days from now, and a lifetime of praise to the Father, in Christ, in the embrace of the Holy Spirit, for the sake of the world. “Neophyte,” our ancient word for newly-baptized people, means “newly-planted” in Greek. If someone in your parish has just been baptized, welcome them today. The smiles on their faces and the light in the eyes is a foretaste of heaven. —Rev. James Field, Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co.

Easter Sunday

From the Desk of Father Robert - “ Rejoice in the Lord always, I shall say it again: Rejoice.” Phil.4:4

Dear Nativity Parishioners, As Christ has risen in our Church, Let us rejoice as he has risen also in our hearts and homes. As Easter is a great gift from God our Father, Let us cherish this season of light, life and love. As God continues to bless and nourish each of us, Let us remain thankful for Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. And may we, through God’s grace, Continuously follow Him in faith, hope and love. Have a very Blessed and Happy Easter!!! Fr. Robert and Fr. Mabu

Scheduling Events at the Church

Our parish is very busy and we receive many requests to use meeting spaces and the church grounds. Please contact Deacon Frank Larker at 382-2504 to schedule your event. All requests should be scheduled as far in advance as possible. Those who use our facility are responsible for setup and clean-up. You must notify the office if your event is cancelled or if you need to reschedule. You cannot reschedule an event WITHOUT contacting the office. Rescheduling your event without contact-ing the office leads to conflicts with others who went through the proper channel to schedule their event. So, please be consider-ate. Thank You!
