Dr. Jaiya John is the founder and Executive Director of Soul Water Rising, an educational mission devoted to improving human relations and combating prejudice. For over a decade he has traveled the nation as a professional speaker, poet, author and youth mentor.

four years as a professor of social psychology at Howard University.
Dr. John was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Immediately placed in foster care and eventually adopted, Jaiya experienced transformational challenges as an African American in a predominately Caucasian American environment. This experience has given him a unique perspective on important issues in the child welfare system.

Ms. Goldade has a M.Ed. and BS in Pre-K through Grade 6. She taught 3-6 year olds at her school, Evergreen Montessori, for ten years before homeschooling her own children. Cindy currently facilitates Brain Gym® 101 (24 hour course), Optimal Brain Organization, Visioncircles, Teacher Practicum, and shorter introductory courses around Minnesota. She teaches graduate level Brain Gym courses at Hamline Univer~ity. Cindy is Director of Operations for Brain Gym International and active in the local Minnesota Brain Gym Network. '

Purpose: To let my creativity run wild, have fun, experiment and learn.
Audience Me (and anyone else who might enjoy it).
Format )- Created an 8-1/2" x 11" canvas. Filled with a color. Experimented with various filters until
I found one that produced an electro-chemical fluidity. )- Duplicated layers, but made them different colors. )- Using the "Free Transform" command, I rotated the layers to add a random, anarchic
dynamic to the composition. )- Created several ellipses of different colors, each on a separate layer. )- Applied lighting effects to the ellipses, transforming them into spheres. )- Experimented with layer stacking order, to achieve the illusion of depth. )- Added text, using a color gradient. )- Applied a drop shadow with a blur, to further the 3-D effect.
Concept To depict various dimensions, allocating a layer to each dimension. Then, through manipulation of the stacking order, to arrange them in a convincing way. Also, to explore lighting effects in relation to spheres.
