but the message that is being sent with the photographs behind the titles.

• The music that is used is very slow, this is used to shock the audience with the photographs.

• The photographs that is shown signifies that the film is set in the 60’s, they have shown this to the audience because when the film continues it feels familiar and will make sense to the audience.

Cape Fear (comments)• With this title sequence they is a clear pattern, the words alternate

between being bold and not being bold.• The word that are bold are the more important words, for example

“directed by” is not bold and the name “martin scorses” is in bold.• The water is constantly showing the audience images. This gives the

audience the feeling that it is leading up to an important moment.• The music used is quite scary and also makes the audience think that it

is leading up to an important moment.• The music and the images in the water give out the same message.
