All who are able are invited to stand Chiming of the Trinity The three bells rung at the beginning of the service represent the Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As the bells ring, let us gather quietly, prayerfully reflecting on the majesty of God in our lives.

Centering Music Meditation on In the Garden Murray C. Bradshaw Call to Worship Wesley Owens, Liturgist The Lord, the Mighty One, has spoken and has called the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. "Hear, O my people, and I will speak: I do not accuse you because of your sacrifices;
your offerings are always before me."
Consider this well, you who forget God, lest I rend us apart and there be none to deliver you. Whoever offers me the sacrifice of thanksgiving honors me; and to those who keep my
way will I show my salvation.

To Confess Our Sins and Receive Forgiveness
Call to Confession Prayer of Confession God of the ages, God of the story that includes even us, we hear of Abraham and Sarah,
and we are astounded by their faith. They trusted you, while we waver. They believed
your promise, while we ignore your words. In their example, we see our own failings.
We confess our sins, aware that we confess with your people through the generations.
We confess our sins, as they did, looking to your endless mercy to cleanse us and restore
us. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. Silent Reflection and Personal Confession

To Respond in Faith
Affirmation of Faith This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are
saved, if we hold it fast: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that
he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, and that he appeared first to the
women, then to Peter, and to the Twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses. We
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus Christ is the first and
the last, the beginning and the end; he is our Lord and our God. Amen.
Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen. Amen.
