PARISH LIBRARY

The Parish Library has a new set of DVD's for young children in Spanish/ English. The series fea-tures Brother Francis and his friends as they inspire children in their Catholic faith - each DVD is about 20-30 minutes in length. Current topics are Bap sm, Confirma on, Eucharist and Prayer. Come by and check them out. Our parish library is open on Sunday a er morning and noon Mass and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We are lo-cated in Rm. #2 on the first floor of the Parish Building. OPERATION HOMEFRONT

Our parish will be par ci-pa ng in Opera on Home-front’s 2013 Back-to-School Brigade as a way to assist mili-tary children with school sup-plies. The goal for 2013 is to support 4,150 military children in California with a new back-pack and new school supplies.

This is an increase of 25% from the support provided last year. We will be accep ng new unwrapped school sup-plies, new backpacks and/or monetary dona ons the weekends of May 12 and May 19 a er Masses. Opera on Homefront works with distributors in the community to purchase in bulk allowing those that do-nate the funds to have their dollars stretch even farther.
