TOP TIPS FOR YOURGIRLY ROADTRIP

PREPARATIONS• Plan your route beforehand. Winging it may seem like a fun idea, but it will lose its sparkle if you find yourself

on nameless country road in the middle of nowhere and, oh it’s just started to rain!

• If you’re the only one who can drive, the responsibility obviously falls to you. However, if other girls on the trip have their licences, arrange to drive in shifts so you get time to rest and enjoy the views with everyone else.

• Fill your tank up at the start of the trip so you don’t find yourself panicking as you try to locate a petrol station in a strange county while a red light flashes ominously at you.

• If you’re booking accommodation, make sure to do this in advance and choose somewhere in a safe area with good visitor reviews. Girls need to exercise a little more caution unfortunately.

TOP TIPS FOR THE TRIP• Arrange to leave at low traffic times so you don’t get spend most of the trip sitting bumper-to-bumper with other cars.

• Starting the trip with a coffee run is also a good idea– the caffeine boost will get everyone’s energy and enthusiasm up.

• Have your road trip playlist ready to go and start singing along!

• Allow for time to get out and stretch your legs. Find something along the route you can get out and visit, like a local festival, food market, tourist attraction. You can also plan to stop at a restaurant you’ve heard good things about along the way.

• It goes without saying, but don’t pick up hitchhikers. Serial killers, murderers, etc, etc.

• And last but not least, have fun, take lots of pictures and make tonnes of great memories!
