Cu Chi Tunnels

Sightseeing Visit the famous guerrilla tunnels at Cu Chi, approximately 70km Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This afternoon you will be met at your hotel at 1.00pm by your Travel Indochina guide for the journey west from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi. On arrival you will be guided through the famous tunnels used by the communist guerrillas during the Vietnam War. The tunnel network stretches over 250km and extends to three levels underground providing you with a remarkable insight into the hardships, courage, determination and terror of a guerrilla war. Booking Conditions
Brochure accuracy: All due care and diligence has been exercised in the production of this brochure. Information concerning resorts, hotels and their facilities has been compiled as accurately as possible and has been checked at the time of going to press. Where it is stated that hotels have night clubs, discos, entertainment or provide facilities such as tennis courts, table tennis etc., the hotels may make changes and equipment is not always provided. However there may be times when certain amenities and facilities are not available, particularly in the low season. You will be advised by the suppliers. Such situations may be dictated by weather conditions, maintenance, local regulations and national or religious holidays, Qantas Holidays Limited cannot accept responsibility for any such situations which are outside our control.
Building and development work: Every effort is made to keep up with developments and construction work/improvements at the resorts and hotels we use throughout the brochure. When we know of any such occurrences we will advise you at the time of booking or before your departure and if either party considers it will affect the enjoyment of the holiday we will endeavour to rectify the situation by offering the choices outlined in our booking conditions.
Maps and photographs: Maps are shown for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the holiday. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.
Travel insurance: We strongly recommend that, at the time of booking, you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy of your choice. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to the following cover:

Special request: If you have any special requests, please ensure you notify these to your travel consultant in writing at the time of booking. We will endeavour to pass such requests on to the supplier(s) concerned. We regret however that we cannot guarantee special requests will be met and failure to do so will not be a breach of contract on our part.
Single price: This must be paid where one person is travelling alone by choice or circumstance and occupying their own room.
Pre-departure contact: It is essential to ensure that your travel consultant advises Qantas Holidays of a telephone number or address where you can be reached within 24 hours prior to your departure for your holiday.
Travel and accommodation: Qantas Holidays is not itself a carrier, hotelier or car hire operator. The cruises, rail and coach journeys, other travel and hotel accommodation, car hire and any other components included in your holiday are provided by reputable carriers and hoteliers on their own conditions. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with Qantas Holidays are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by the various service providers involved in your travel booking, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.
Not included in price of holiday: The price of passports, visas and airport taxes, where applicable, are not included in the holiday price, nor are items of a personal nature such as laundry, taxis outside of regular transfers provided, telephone calls, excess baggage charges, personal and baggage insurance, postage and cables, drinks, room service or meals (unless specified). Government and local authority charges may apply.
Booking arrangements: All booking arrangements are to be made through your travel consultant and the person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. The contract will be
governed by and subject to the Booking Conditions. No variation to the Booking Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing and with the authority of Qantas Holidays. All communications from us will be sent to your travel consultant. Your travel consultant shall on receipt of any holiday monies, hold such monies for each and every person named in the booking until that booking is confirmed at which time, those monies are promptly remitted by your travel consultant to us.
Our responsibility: We always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory and we accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by you as a result of our negligence or that of our employees. The standard of accommodation and other services are based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class, however, we do not guarantee the standard, class, or fitness for purpose of that accommodation or service. Qantas Holidays does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service providers in connection with your holiday pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of a voucher, coupon or the like) and over whom we have no direct or exclusive control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.

Law of contract: The contract is governed in all respects by the law of the State of New South Wales and any legal action arising under the contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate Court having jurisdiction in that State except that certain consumer claims may be brought before the Fair Trading Tribunal having jurisdiction in respect thereof in New South Wales or similar Tribunals in other States or Territories
