Technical ConstraintsAssumptions about the output devices are:• User has a 17-inch or larger screen with 1024x768 pixels that can display

thousands of colors (16 bit or more). • We will not use any audio features.

Assumptions about the input devices are:• We assume only that the user has a standard keyboard and mouse.• This "pay-at-the-pump" system has digits 0-9, “Login", "Cancel", and 10

buttons at the screen.

Page 14: TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENTS

Assumptions about the time are:

Managers or HR are expected to login almost 10 seconds. Use cases UC-115 and UC-105 are expected to take a few

seconds each because they just click to the button. Use case UC-101 should take about 3 minutes. All other use cases should take less than 1 minutes.

Windowing systems,UI technologies are:

The pages will also be functional in browsers without javascriptSimple HTML with simple JPG images.

Safety• We have a confirmation step, but we have not

reviewed the user interface to find all such actions.

Page 16: TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENTS

Consistency and Familiarity• Functionality It is not used the same label or icon for two different meanings.• Font and color scheme It is consistent style sheet but some parts in our font style can be

either bold or not.• Labels Actually we did not use forward back. We put “HOMEPAGE” button

for almost every page.
