SPECIAL TRANSFER ARRANGEMENTS

WANT TO LEARN MORE?

Dual AdmissionThis advisement program allows students to apply to Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) or Reading Area Community College (RACC) and Millersville at the same time. Students are eligible to transfer to Millersville after they complete their associate degree, following the catalog in effect at the time of their admission to the dual-enrollment program. HACC advisement checksheets can be found at hacc.edu/StudentServices/TransferServices.

Articulation AgreementsMillersville has transfer articulation agreements with many community college partners. The agreements guarantee transfer of credits upon completion of an Associate Degree and help to facilitate a smooth transition to Millersville.

VeteransMillersville meets all the criteria established for transfer of credits from DANTES and USAFI programs. Additional information for veterans can be found at millersville.edu/finaid/studentinfo/veteran.php.

Transfer Application & Admission Process

1. Admission Requirements Transfer student admission requires a minimum of 12 transferable credits with a 2.0 or higher GPA. A combined GPA is calculated for students who have earned credits at multiple institutions.

2. Send Official Transcripts Official transcripts (electronic or paper) must be sent directly from each institution where coursework was attempted. Electronic transcripts can be sent to [email protected]. Paper transcripts can be sent to the address below.

3. If fewer than 12 credits earned Students with fewer than 12 transferable credits earned at the time of application will be evaluated using a combination of official college and high school records and SAT/ACT scores.

4. Confirm Enrollment (Deposit) Your deposit serves as the key to the next steps in the admission process (invitation to new student orientation, contact with your assigned academic advisor, your Millersville email, registration information, and access to the web-based registration and advisement systems).
