B.B.A. is course in which practical aspect is an important as

theoretical aspect. Primary aim of B.B.A. is to develop effective

managers and that require industrial training as practical aspect.

The growth of economy is depends upon skilled managers and

B.B.A. course fulfills this need. The practical studies give an idea to

Achievements

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. was start in 1989 and in 16 years

they have achieve many targets which rarely achieved by other

company.

Company was started with only one type of bearing and

today they are producing many types of bearings. Company is

also producing original equipments of other products.

3Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded for quality

standard ISO 9001:2000 by BVQI-LONDON accreditation

body and will soon get TS 16949 certificates.

History

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. Was started in 1989, in Rajkot. Mr.

D.R. Patel and Mr. Paresh P. Patel have started TURBO. They

have started Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. with investment of Rs.3 crores.

In beginning time of Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. They were producing

only Tapered Roller Bearing.

Now a day because of great relation and superior quality

company produce many types of bearings and original equipment of

many vehicles. And today because of excellent performance they

have lots of satisfied customers in India as well as international

market.

There was tremendous progress of Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd.

during 1991 to 1994. And they expand their business in international

market.

If starting investment of company is less than 1 crore then it is

consider as small scale industry. If it is 1 crore to 10 crores then it is

consider as middle scale industry. If it is 10 crores to 100 crores

then it is consider as large scale industry. If it is more than 100

crores then it is consider as giant scale industry.

3 crores so that it is consider as small scale industry.

Time Keeping System

Time is most important for everyone. Time never stop for any

one we should use our time properly.

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. believes that every work should be

done in time. It believes that work which is done after definite time

period. Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. is very strict as far as time is

concern.

In Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. there is card system. Everyone has

to write their entry time and leaved time. General shift of company is

as under.

Morning shift : 8:00 A.M. to 12:00P.M.

Recess : 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.

After noon shift: 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Night shift : 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

Morning shift and after noon shift are compulsory. And night

shift is for over time. This system is quite helpful them to count

wages of employee.

Production is the heart of any industry. All the activities startwith production in the company. It is necessary that production

department run effectively and efficiently. Because, if company runs

production effectively and efficiently then company can run other

activity forward.

Production is an organized activity of converting raw material

in to final product.Every process of converting raw material in to

final goods is known as production process.

In Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Dineshbhai Patel is the head of

production department. He looks after every activity of production

department. He looks after every activity of production department

Raw Material Used In Process

For each and every product there are some materials which

are transferred in to the final product it is known as raw material for

that product. Production is start with raw material.

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. uses steel as a raw material to

produce bearing. They use only SAE 52100 steel as a raw

material.

In the business unit purchasing decision is also a decisionwhich requires long thinking. Because company should purchase

goods at that time when they can purchase at lower rate and

working capital is not be invested for long time

In Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. purchasing decision are taken by

Mr. Dineshbhai K. Patel. They purchase raw material at that time

that company can not delay in production process and working

capital is not being invested for long time. They take purchasing

decision considering following details.

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. is very conscience about quality of

product. They use latest machinery and equipment for best quality.

Metallurgical Laboratory

Turbo Bearing Pvt. Ltd. is well equipped with chemical

analysis laboratory for analyzing the chemical composition of primeraw material SAE-52100 / 100 Cr 6 steel. Main function of

laboratory is to verify the chemical composition ofSAE-52100 / 100

Cr 6 steel as per IS/ISO norms. They are using the raw material of

balls and rollers SAE-52100 / 100 Cr 6 steel from worlds best steel

making plants like DAIDO-Japan, ASCO metal-France, Willaires-

Brazil or equivalents and prime SAE-52100 / 100 Cr 6 steel for

bearing races.

Metallurgical Microscope

Metallurgical microscope - Olympus CK 40M (Japan) make.

It is one of the latest microscopes of OLYMPUS-Japan make. It is

used for checking the microstructure of bearing components. By this

equipment, they are maintaining consistent quality of microstructure

as per standard norms in prime raw material as well as in heat

treated rings, roller & balls. It leads to improve the bearing

performance. They are using STAHL-EISEN-PRUFBLATT 1520(SEP-1520) German chart for checking microstructure as...

Micro Structure

As per Indian and international bearing standards the grade of

bearing steel is SAE-52100 / 100 Cr 6 which is being used by Turbo

Bearing Pvt. Ltd. Before using bearing steel as their raw material,

They make it sure that micro inclusions, micro cleanliness and

microstructure of bearing components are maintained as per

standard specifications to ensure the long life of bearings.

It is the best quality measuring instrument. It is used for checking

the roundness, squarness, concentricity and coaxiality of bearing

and components, which ensure the running accuracy and long life of

TURBO bearings.

Form Talysurf

Form Talysurf FTS 50 - Taylor Hobson Ltd. (U.K.) Make.

Form and surface finish measuring instrument is being used for

checking the micro geometry, it evaluate parameters like Form

geometry and surface finish of components.

Also they are using this instrument for improving the quality and

verifying their product with standards. It is also useful for R & D

works as they can modify form of races & rollers to enhance

performance ofTURBO bearings.

Bearing Noise Level & Vibration Tester

This imported testing instrument is used for checking the noise &

vibration of Tapered, Cylindrical, Spherical roller bearings, Angular

contact ball bearings and deep groove ball bearings. This

instrument is used for upgrading the quality ofTURBO bearings.
