Hymn: Wondrous LoveWords by Alexander Means, Music from Southern Harmony, harmonization by Richard Proulx

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul! What wondrous love is this, O my soul!What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse For my soul, for my soul; to bear the dreadful curse for my soul!

To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing; to God and to the Lamb I will sing.To God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme,I will sing, I will sing; while millions join the theme, I will sing.

And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on; and when from death I’m free,I’ll sing on. And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be,And through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on; and through eternity I’ll sing on.

Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth,And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried;He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church,The communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins,The resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament, and that You are truly Present in this Holy Mass.

I have lovingly worshipped you by prayerfully watching today’s Mass, So, by my membership in the Mystical Body, please present me to The Father, In Your Perfect Sacrifice, O Jesus. Although I do desire to receive You as Eucharist in person, at this moment, I cannot.

I humbly ask You to come to me spiritually. I give myself to You. I love You, O Lord God. Hear my petitions, and those of the Church, Your Bride, that we may be drawn by Your Spirit towards our beautiful wedding day in Glory. Amen.

Communion Hymn: Where True Love and Charity9th century Latin text, tr. by Richard Proulx, acc. by Richard Proulx

R./ Where true love and charity are found, God is always there.(Ubi cáritas et amor, Deus ibi est.)

Since the love of Christ has brought us all together, Let us all rejoice and be glad, now and always. Let ev’ryone love the Lord God, the living God; And with sincere hearts let us love each other now. R./

Therefore when we gather as one in Christ Jesus, Let our love enfold each race, creed, ev’ry person. Let envy, division and strife cease among us; May Christ our Lord dwell among us in ev’ry heart. R./

Bring us with your saints to behold your great beauty,There to see you, Christ our God, throned in great glory;There to possess heaven’s peace and joy, your truth and love,For endless ages of ages, world without end. R./

Meditation: Seek to ServeBased on the Kyrie from Mass IX “Cum Jubilo,” arranged by Lloyd Pfautsch

May I live in the world as one who always seeks to serve.May I live as one who knows the love of God.Lord, teach me how to live and how to serve.With my ears may I hear. With my eyes may I see.With my lips may I speak. May your Word be heard through me.Thus as I live each day may love sustain the will to serve. Amen, Amen.
