WelcomeOn behalf of all of us at Twin Bridge Farms and the Okell and Ness families Iwould like to invite you to our first bull sale. We are all very driven to producethe best possible Gelbvieh genetics we can. In order to showcase these geneticsand give every one of our customers the opportunity to buy from the top ofour bull pens we decided to collaborate together and host this sale.

The new momentum in the cattle industry is just getting going and those with the best genetics are going to get the mostbenefit from it. The Gelbvieh breed has proven to have the traits to be profitable right from breeding to the rail. I amconfident that the Gelbvieh bulls on offer March 19th will go out and produce those money making steers and productivefemales that us and our consignors strive to produce.

Welcome to Twin Bridge Farms and Guests 1st Gelbvieh Bull Sale. The Birch family has been in the

cattle industry for years in the Lomond area. They started adding top quality purebred Gelbvieh

genetics; their purebred breed of choice. Every year they continue to add top quality females building

a solid foundation herd. Now the Birch’s have the basis for which to hold their 1st Bull Sale. They

have also purchased and used top end-end Gelbvieh herdsires to advance their program.

Joining the Birch family in this sale are Jen-Ty Gelbvieh and Keriness Cattle Company. Don and Lorna

Okell, Jen-Ty Gelbvieh, have maintained and selected for a strong and maternal cow herd. The results

have been evident in their successful program which will be unveiled on March 19th. Keriness Cattle

Company, Kert and Joe Ness, also have been developing a good purebred Gelbvieh and with the

addition of their new herdsires that all cattlemen will be pleased with the results.

The bulls from these three breeding programs are stout, thick, good haired individuals that will add

calving ease, performance and maternal traits into your cow herd. Gelbvieh cross cattle are in

demand in the markets throughout North America. These genetics will increase your bottom dollar

and add to your profitability.

Every year we keep back a couple very balanced trait bulls as spares for eitherus or our customers. We understand how difficult it is to find good bulls part waythrough the breeding season so we make sure we have some good bulls like 18Xand 96X to ensure our customers can get their cows bred. 18X really stood out asa yearling and has only improved with age. BULL BREEDING GUARANTEEAll guarantees are between the buyer and the seller.

All bulls offered and sold, except calves at side, are guaranteed breeders irrespective of age. All bulls after reaching the age of 15 months must be capable ofsettling 7 head or 75% of the eligible normal healthy breeding age females he is running with for a 90 day period, whichever is the lesser.

No guarantee regarding the freezing ability of a bull’s semen is made or implied in the sale of a bull unless covered specifically in a written contract.

In the case of a complaint regarding a bull’s breeding guarantee the buyer wishes to enforce the provisions of the Code shall report the same in writing to the sellerenclosing a report prepared by a licensed veterinarian within 6 months of purchase or the time the bull reaches the age of 15 months whichever occurs later. Thebull shall be returned to the seller at the buyer’s expense. The seller may replace the bull with a bull of equal quality or refund the purchaser’s price of the bull orhe may attempt to prove the bull a breeder under the terms of this clause within 6 months. If the bull is proven to be a breeder within the 6 months provided heshall be returned by the seller to the buyer and the buyer’s expense. If he is not proven to be a breeder then replacement or, at the option of a seller, a refund ismandatory. Under no circumstances will a seller be liable for more than the purchase price of the animal sold.
