Community Engagement: Thank you

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the All Aboard team for their time, effort and successful fundraising events. Next year, the All Aboard team will be working with staff member Michelle Sommers. The fundraising activities for the 2020 year are currently being finalised. We have reflected over the course of this year and have responded to feedback. In 2020, we hope to co-ordinate the fundraising activities with the school curriculum and sporting calendar. This will help to ensure parent monetary contributions will be spread more evenly throughout the year. Thank you to all parents, friends and community members for assisting throughout the year. You are all warmly welcome to our morning tea on Tuesday 17th December as a thank you for all that you do.

Staffing

Here at TRSPS we have a magnificent staff with a wide range of skills. We have finalised the staff selection process and have appointed Madeline Chernishoff to join our staff in 2020. She comes with 7 years’ experience and will be a wonderful addition to school community. We also welcome Narelle MacNab to our school full time and to Michelle Sommers who has increased her time fraction. She will be with us for 3 days each week. All our students have been assigned to their classes for 2020 and we all look forward to an excellent year of learning. On Tuesday 10th December students will participate in our “Step Up” program where they will meet their new classmates and teaching staff.

REPORTS

I am reading reports this week and can confidently say I am extremely proud of all the students and their learning growth. It’s important to acknowledge the effort the kids have put in, the quality of instruction from teachers and the extra support from home. This partnership is what puts TRSPS students in a great space for learning.

Have a lovely weekend.
