What has to be activated/installed by the administrator?

Some of the innovations have to be activated or shown to be applied. These innovations are marked with the cogwheel which stands for adjustments.

In the case of a few innovations, it is important that theadministrator carries out the adjustments. These innovationsare additionally marked with the lightning.

Along with the update, most of the innovations are effectivedirectly for all users without having to activate or show anything. These innovations are not specifically marked.

Full text search on the job market

From now on all applicants and interested persons can benefitfrom a full text search on the job market. All terms from the job advertisement texts are found.

Entry screens for new applications have been standardised

All applicant profile fields can be shown directly on the first entry screen. That way you can decide who can register which fields via which form already in the first step. This applies for targeted and unsolicited applications as well as for online application forms.

Visible withdrawn applications

If an applicant withdraws an application, this will now be shown in the SelfService under «Withdrawn applications». These applicationscan then be adjusted and reactivated. If a person makes use of thisoption, the status of the application is put back to «Application entry» in the internal area.

Completion of the form for speculative applications

As a new feature a picture upload is offered on all job marketswhere one can write a speculative application. The form has been supplemented by adding further fields such as the phone number.

Combination of internal and external applicant area

In order to simplify the applicant area, the two different areas havebeen combined. If a person wants to apply via the internal job market, the links to the internal job overviews are also shown on the home page. In the settings for each applicant one can defineinternally if someone shall have access to the internal job market ornot.

Multiple actions proceed in the background

Due to continual improvements in performance there‘s an important alteration to the execution of multiple actions. Because the technical handling of the multiple actions now proceeds in the background, it is possible that the desired alterations are not transfered to the edited data sets immediately. The new help text refers to this, too.

Your benefit is that you can continue working without waiting times.

Standard search for each user in the main overviews

From now on you can define standard searches for each user in the overviews of vacancies and applicants. Therefore all persons that work with umantis can save their desired search for each overview.

Rounding off of the approval process

Additionally added approvers are listed below and can therefore be included in a currently running approval process. Moreover, five user-defined links are available on the left hand side. For instance assistants for the approval process can be depositedhere. As is customary these links have to be shown first.

Unlimited deletion of applications and documents

The deletion of documents, applicants and applications is now no longer limited to a certain number but can be done without limitation. Therefore you have the possibility of deleting 15 datasets or any number of them. This multiple action can be shown viathe «Adjust view» mode.

Please note: This action is irreversible. In case of inappropriate useof this function, important data can be lost.

Superiour in charge directly ascertainable

When assigning a line manager in charge, you can now register a new person directly in the overview and assign him or her to theselected vacancy. Therefore this process step is simplified and canbe carried out with less clicks.

Remark on application status in the overview

The remarks on the application status can be shown both in thedossier and as a further column in the applicant overview of a vacancy. If requested the column has to be shown.

In order to be able to send the job title of an advertisement in all possible languages, you can now use the following eight variables:

New search for the assignment of a superiour in charge

In the case of the assignment of a responsible line manager, youcan now choose from further searches. At the same place you canalso find several columns with information on the superiours. Withthe aid of these innovations you can more efficiently find theperson in charge. The same innovations apply to the assignment of approvers.

New search for the assignment of an application

If you want to assign an application to another vacancy, you nowhave the possibility of searching for all criteria of the vacancyoverview. This enables a faster location of vacancies if, for example, you assign applicants from a pool to a vacancy.

As a new feature you can filter all applications according to criteriaof the job in the advanced search.

Limit access to the solution to certain IP addresses

You can now limit the access to your umantis Recruiting to IP addresses you have chosen for each area (URL path). That way youcan, for example, limit the recruiters‘ access within your solution to the office workplace.

Multi-language ability of selection lists

In order to allow an easier and more clearly arranged adjustment of dynamical lists, they are now individually ascertainable, sortableand editable for each language. If you click on the tab „Selection lists“ in the settings, all dynamic lists that can be adjusted will appear in the revised overview.

Spidering pages for job platforms

As of now umantis offers the possibility to integrate job platformsvia a dynamically created spidering page. In order to meet all requirements of job platforms, another five options are offeredalong with the existing e-mail integrations. Variable document size limitation

In the adjustment mode you can now decide if the size limitationfor further documents of an application shall be 10 MB or 20 MB.

Creation of new users can be limited to administrator

The links necessary to create new HR experts and line managers are available visible just to administrators (top) and as up to now, also visible to HR experts (bottom). As an administrator you can that way show the upper links and therefore control what HR expertsare permitted to do. HR experts can no longer give access to other branch offices for newly created HR experts.

The same job advertisement templates on the intranet and theInternet

In the template texts for the job advertisements there are now also six instead of two data blocks available for the intranet vacancies. Thus you can define pre-completed texts for the internal and the external advertisement of every branch office.

Improved standard print templates

From now on all standard print templates in umantis are provided with the umantis original content. You can still adjust them, however the original contents underneath remain immutable and updatable by umantis.

New design can be activated in the external area, too

The new design with the rounded corners for tables and tabs will be activated in the internal area automatically. In the applicant‘s and the line manager‘s area you have the possibility of activating this design by ticking the box in the design setting area. In the case of activating, please make sure that this action is in accordance with the individual settings of your external appearance.

More efficient bulk processing of text adjustments

Along with the simple search for entries and the replacement of entries in the view text area, an administrator can now also apply this useful and time saving function via a multiple action in the settings. You can also completely replace texts as well as delete the adjustments.

New design

We have modernised the design of the solutions and have in particular improved the arrangement and the conspicuity of the data. Tables, tabs and data blocks have a round look. It's best if you see for yourself.For the time being the adjustments to the design are only effectivein the internal area and the Internet Explorer from version 7.0. In the case of older versions of the Microsoft Internet Explorer the previous design is still shown.

Printing via the browser

Thanks to some adjustments in our CSS we have been able to optimise the general print view via the browser. If you want to print a page of umantis via the navigation menu File > Print (or Strg+P), the navigation and the action bar are now omitted. Therefore the contents appear in portrait on an A4 page.

Filter out filed applications

For the sake of clarity all filed vacancies and applications arefiltered out in the superior‘s cockpit. Not until the superior setsback the search filter, he or she cannot see the filed vacancies and applications that are no longer needed in the usual process.

Visibility of all job markets for recruiters

Recruiters can now go to the job markets in all used languages viathe main page. As soon as a language is activated via the default settings, the link will appear in the SelfServiceRecruiter.

Security update

Further containers in the line manager‘s and the personnelconsultant‘s cockpit

Containers have been fitted in the line manager‘s and thepersonnel consultant‘s cockpit. Amongst other things dashboardscan be integrated via them. That way you can, for example, show a line manager the dashboard on the process of the inbound applications for his or her vacancies. After an update the containers are still hidden.

You can record questions and answers including weighting of the points, order and typification underneath the assessment tab. A catalogue with already used assessment questions is offered as an alternative. You can search for questions here or easily copy them.

In the applicant overview of the vacancy you can mark the desiredapplicants according to the previous evaluation criteria. Theassessment created before, that is the question block, can becopied to the applicant via a multiple action. Invitation and assignment of assessors

Any person that evaluates the applicant within an interview, cannow be recorded on the applicant‘s assessment overview. Theassessors are invited by e-mail and the access data is sent.

Entry of the answers in umantis

During or after the assessment the assessors answer the questionson a specially provided overview. The provided answer option canbe supplemented with a comment. At the end there‘s also thepossibility of entering an overall evaluation.

Evaluation of the results

Along with the overall evaluation, the achieved number of pointsand the comment, the application shows all individual answers in a table as well as on a dashboard. An evaluation for each applicant results immediately, including the average number of points and the achieved overall number of points.

Registration from external systems without login

As a registrated user of an external system such as SAP or the intranet, you can directly registrate in umantis via a link. For this purpose, deposit the same parameters in the desired system as in umantis and you can switch between the different programs without another login.

Settings for the user transition to external systems

From now on all users can switch to other software systems and back again without another login. External systems for the user transition are recorded in the default settings and also whether itconcerns umantis Recruiting, umantis Employee Management oranother system. The personal data is then deposited in each individual user‘s settings.

User transition to external systems in every day life

The very easy transition to an external system is carried out via theuser transition icon at the top right. This step is performed byclicking on the desired system. Examples for a transition would bethe parallel use of umantis Recruiting and umantis Employee Management or if a person switches between branch offices.

The next action after the creation is the following: the PDF can bedisplayed in the responsible superior‘s cockpit or forwarded to persons without access data by e-mail. The big advantage is thefact that these persons can always just look at one document.

Job subscription now possible per branch office

As of now the job subscription function can be activated for each of your job markets separately. In order to enable this, we havemoved the e-mail templates for the job subscriptions from thesystem e-mails to a tab of the branch offices. Here you can nowactivate the function and maintain the e-mail templates for eachmarket (intranet or Internet) and language.

As of now you can decide for each branch office, and there for the internal and the external job market, if unsolicited applications arepossible or not. Unsolicited applications that come in via the job market of a branch office, are only visible to this branch office.
