WHAT IS OUR BUSINESS?Three core activities:1. Velocite Bikes – design and development of highest performance bicycle

frames2. Venn – design, development and manufacture of bicycle components

using scientific principles for OEM/ODM market, including the worlds' first filament wound composite rims

3. Velocite Aerodynamics Consulting – aerodynamic performance consulting service for the bicycle industry, specializing in unique CFD solutions and wind tunnel studies

HIGHLIGHT VELOCITE PRODUCTVelocite Syn – award winning aero road bike

"I decided to make a bike that would work with the rider to convert as much of your energy as possible into forward motion. I wanted to see what can be achieved if we applied well established scientific principles and data to design a bike that did not sacrifice performance for the sake of fashion or appearance."Victor Major, CEO Velocite Tech Co LtdVelociete Syn. Designed by science. For you.

HIGHLIGHT VENN PRODUCTVenn REV 35 series of rims – the worlds' first filament wound composite rims

The rims are manufactured using a semi automated process involving filament winding of the rim body. The benefits are reduced manufacturing cost and a more consistent mechanical performance.

EXAMPLE OF OUR AERODYNAMICS WORKAirflow analysis around the bicycle fork for a bicycle rim brake manufacturer. The analysis consisted of a simulation domain comprised of 36 million cells, static fork and rotating wheel. The simulation was performed on our own 32 core/132 GB computational cluster using a custom Lattice-Boltzmann solver and a LES turbulence model. The results show that significant air pressure spikes are observed at the fork crown and that the opposing air flow that is caused by the rotating wheel does not "shield" the fork crown from the incident air flow, as posited by some in the bike industry.
