Dear Parents,
I, on behalf of the Management and Staff members, convey heartiest
“Nuakhai Juhar” to each and everyone . May the year give lots of
bliss, prosperity and good health to all. This month is remarkable for
different academic programmes like the conduct of Term I for 2nd
Year and Test I for the 1st Year. Besides we have conducted adoption
system on a periodic basis to know the problems of students and to
have good communication with the parents. Our study hour system
has been strengthened by conduct of Daily Practice Sets every
evening from 6pm to 9 pm. We have also observed Teachers’ Day,
Industrial Study tour, Red Cross Awareness Campaign and Ganesh
Puja. Our students have also earned name for the institution in the
form of awards at different competitions and academics. It is a great
privilege for us to receive your suggestions and render service in the
best possible way.

“As per Sanskrit ‘GU' means darkness and ‘RU' means light therefore 'guru' literally means 'the one
who brings you from darkness to light' . The Guru and Sishya tradition is still going on in our campus.
VGI have a tradition that every year felicitated a Guru. In this year our best Guru Sj. Ajit Ku Dash,
Retired HM, Budharaja HS,Sambalpur was felicitated bu SJ. D. Murali Krisha, Chairman VGI.
Mesmerising cultural program was demonstrated by respected teachers. On this auspicious occasion
Sj. D. Nageswar Rao, Administration Direcotor, VGI, Sj. G. Bhaskar Rao, MD VGI, Sj. Narendra,
Management member, Sj. S.K Baboo, Principal VHSS, Dr. B C Padhy, Principal VCS were present.

A well-organized and effective Staff Council
meeting was held on 12th October. It was chaired
by esteemed Principal Sj. S.K. Baboo. All the
faculty members were assembled in the seminar
hall. The motive of the meeting was to enhance
the strength of student’s progress and empower
the educational teaching process of the
institution.
At the district level competition organized by “Jyoti Foundation, sambalpur” Miss Stuti Priya Jena , +2 2nd
year Commerce & Miss Swati Patel,+2 2nd year Sc. respectively got 2nd and 3rd prizes in Song competition
and Master Sandhan Pradhan, +2 2nd year Sc. got 1st position in Essay competition. We congratulate the
winners and their parents for this achievement.

To develop optimism towards human welfare and to create safety towards all the evils in the society, A
campaign on Emblem Awareness was organized by Indian Red Cross Society at Tapaswini Auditourim,
Sambalpur. The purpose of this campaign was to make consciousness towards the safety programme and it
aims to build strength within the students. The students were guided by Dr. Dillip Nanda and Mr.
Prashanta Hota
