Facts About Me:When did I join AIESEC ? April 2011. Yes, I am currently the oldest member in LC Manama.

A bit about the LC during MY time: Manama had its’ first project executed and had its’ first 5 iGCDP interns in Wahoo Project. Leap didn’t exist!

For iGCDP, only Manama had projects and having interns was like having celebrities.

iGIP was a focus and half the LC did sales! ICX had almost the same amount of members in OGX, that was cool!

Right now only 5 months are left to end the term and for me in LC Manama. I still remember my elections like it was yesterday and now I already have a successor!

A lot of ups and downs happened in the term and things didn’t always go the way we wanted as an LC. With huge gaps between the goals in each function, it makes me feel sad and there are many reasons for what led to this or why this led to that but it doesn’t matter because it’s in the past now.

Yet today I look at the LC and I feel lucky to be here seeing how many brave and committed individuals we have, and I have seen many members always living by the values and striving for excellence. Looking at this makes me proud and makes me feel ensured that it’s not too late. 5 months are left for the end of term. yet I see and believe 5 times more things will happen in the coming months from you guys.

I my self will want to ensure the best experience for all the members in the LC. Keep pushing them to the limits, and know that for us, in LC Manama, reaching the Goal is nothing, beause you surprise me and challenge me everyday and the least I will do is give the same back.

Thank you Manama, always strive for the best.

OGX Evaluation Functional Meeting

Nine members took the exam, but.. only ONE passed with a grade of

75% and that is... RUQAYA SHEHAB!

OGX had its first exam on January 19th. The purpose of the exam was to

help the members see their standing in OGX. It evaluated their knowledge and skills that they’ve gained throughout the

duration of their role. With this, OGX has identified the gaps in its members’ education and experience, and will be

improving and enhancing its approach and focus points for the next quarter. The whole process was handled by the

Team Leaders of OGX, from creation to execution to correction.

Passing Grade: 70%Average Score: 50%

In December, AIESEC Bahrain held its first ever oGIP National Summit.

The day included training on OGIP strategies

and EP management. Members attended from AIESEC Manama and Skheer, together we set

the foundation of oGIP in AIESEC Bahrain.
