Synthetic/Natural Athletic/Ground Surfaces; borrows its name from the Houston Astrodome,
where it was first used in a professional sports venue fifty years ago this year. The space race was
in full swing. It was a time of palpable optimism. A certain belief that man could conquer the con-
straints of nature with ingenuity and forward-thinking progress pervaded. The Astrodome was built
in the midst of this feverish pursuit of the impossible. It was the first domed stadium.
Over the half century since AstroTurf was first installed in Houston, technology has rapidly im-
proved. NASA scientists no longer use the same computers to calculate trajectories. These days,
AstroTurf products come even closer to replicating the feel, performance, and safety of the gold
standard — natural grass. Marvel of sports architecture.
With the wide selection of synthetic and natural turf systems — whatever the venue or
sport — AstroTurf has it covered.
AstroTurf’s premium system series boast heavy face weights for the best the industry has to offer
in player protection, aesthetics, and durability. These systems are driven by the latest research
and technology that are pushing the industry toward the most grass-like surfaces yet.
We encourage you to work with our trained team of sales consultants to evaluate your system
needs and preferences, so that they can help you identify the system best for you.
With so many systems, it’s easy to see how AstroTurf can cover so much ground.

Bio Corporation has a wide variety of preserved specimens, from a tiny spider to a large
shark. Cover your lab for mammals with dissection of fetal pigs, mink, rabbits, rats or cats.
You can select a plain preserved or an injected specimen. Injected specimens will highlight
the different arteries and veins. Most of the specimens are of good size for the species. Need
a specimen for marine biology? We have sting ray, anemone, sea cucumbers, horseshoe
crabs, squid, jelly fish, sharks and more. The sharks will be the only marine specimen that
will have injections.
Worms, frogs and owl pellets, best sellers for middle schools. These specimens are of good
size but not too large to overwhelm students. Even for their size the dissection is fascinating.
Study on larger organs for anatomy. Organs are obtains from full size animals. Cow hearts
are amazing! Bio Corporation carries organs from cow, pig, sheep and turkey. Injected organs
include the pig and cow kidneys and sheep hearts. Compare between the different specimens
or compare a full size to an embryo size.
Please visit www.biologyproducts.com to browse other products such as reference material,
models, displays, charts, gloves and more.
