The Feast of St Louise de Marillac occurs on May
9th. Louise (1591-1660) married and had a son,
but at age 34, she became a widow. Vincent de
Paul became her spiritual director and under his
guidance, she began caring for the poor. Vincent
and Louise co-founded the Company of the Daughters of Charity
and dedicated them to serve the poor with humility, simplicity
and charity. In 1960, Pope John XXIII proclaimed Louse the
patron saint of all Christian social workers.
On this "Good Shepherd Sunday" your gifts to the Society will
reveal the love of the "Good Shepherd" to those in need in our
communities. Just as Louise and Vincent de Paul carried the
"Good Shepherd's" love to the poor and suffering of their time.

PASTOR’S PAGE
As you may know, the State of Wisconsin issued Emergency Order #28 Friday, April 17 which extended the Safer-at-Home order until 8:00 A.M. on May 26, 2020. This Emergency Order restricts gathering in places like churches to 10 or less people. On Monday, April 20 the Diocese of Madison sent out directives to the Priests of the Diocese regarding the celebration of Sacraments and other considerations regarding the use of churches, funerals, weddings and other devotions. Having taken these things, as well as the observation of the last month of the Safer-at-Home order, you will find parish schedule below: The Parish Church will be open Monday - Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M and on Sunday from 8:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M. Only the front doors will be open. People are free to come and pray while maintaining proper social distancing. The Parish Office will be open Monday - Thursday from 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. You can reach the Pastor any time, day or night, at 608-254-8381 x2 Holy Mass will be celebrated Monday - Saturday at 8:00 A.M. and on Sunday at 10:30 A.M. These Masses can be viewed live on the Parish Facebook Page. Confessions will be heard in the church on Wednesday & Friday from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 8:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. You can also contact the Pastor (608-254-8381 x2) to arrange a time for Confession.
Funerals for deceased loved ones can still be celebrated in the Parish Church. However, there can only be 10 or fewer people in attendance. Rules at cemeteries are similar - you can have more than 10 people at an outdoor cemetery but they must maintain social dis-tancing norms. GO MAKE DISCIPLES
A NOTE FROM BISHOP HYING THE PASCHAL MYSTERY
The Passion, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the absolute heart of
our Christian Faith. This Paschal Mystery, this sacred passing over from
death to eternal life, offers us the gracious forgiveness of the Father and the
promise of eternal life. The crux of the Gospel, the Paschal Mystery is the
very core of our evangelization efforts,
as witnessed by the proclamation of Saint Peter on the morning of
Pentecost.
In the Passion and death of Jesus, God the Son embraces everything that is
sinful, broken, and dead within us, and in one great act of self-offering,
lifts it up to the Father. In that sacred embrace of our sinfulness and
immortality, we are saved forever! This astonishing Good News is the heart
of what Jesus calls us to share with every person we know and meet. As we
move deeper into our relationship with the Lord and practice our Faith with
greater ardor and devotion, we will fall more profoundly in love with God
and feel a fiery urgency to want everyone to experience the amazing grace
we have found.
As Christians, we should have a daily familiarity with the Paschal Mystery,
reflecting on it in our prayer, experiencing its power in the sacraments,
living the dying and rising of Jesus in our road of conversion.
Evangelization is sharing the Gospel and the Gospel is the Paschal Mystery.

the Coronavirus Pandemic Most merciful and Triune God,
We come to you in our weakness.
We come to you in our fear.
We come to you with trust.
For you alone are our hope.
We place before you the disease present in our world.
We turn to you in our time of need.
Bring wisdom to doctors.
Give understanding to scientists.
Endow caregivers with compassion and generosity.
Bring healing to those who are ill.
Protect those who are most at risk.
Give comfort to those who have lost a loved one.
Welcome those who have died into your eternal home.
Stabilize our communities.
Unite us in our compassion.
Remove all fear from our hearts.
Fill us with confidence in your care.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Amen.
