Language Arts Curriculum
The Language Arts curriculum is composed of four parts
1. Spelling/Vocabulary
2. Grammar
3. Literature
4. Writing
Spelling/Vocabulary
20 words a week given out each Monday in class
Students received a workbook on Sept. 5th to use for the year
Quiz - every Friday Weekly words are posted on
Teacherweb
Grammar
Subject/Verb Agreement Parts of Speech Capitalization/Punctuation Sentence Structure/Combining Drills and worksheets are used to
teach these concepts Students will keep all returned
grammar assignments in their binders and take notes in their English notebooks
