At the crossroads of Downtown and Town Lake, the LINE ATX embodies
the natural beauty and creative spirit of Austin, with direct views of the
Lake and easy access to the hike and bike trails. It’s centrally located within
walking distance of the Red River music district, Rainey Street, Convention
Center, 2nd Street shopping, and East Austin.
The LINE ATX is a community collaboration inspired by its connection
to Town Lake. Designer Sean Knibb and architect Michael Hsu have created
a distinctive Austin experience, anchored by three world-class restaurants by
the Sydell Group and an artist residency program and gallery highlighting
emerging local artists. The LINE ATX hosts unique events rooted in the
neighborhood that bring locals and travelers together.

Inside the fully renovated mid-century hotel, originally built
in 1965, Sean Knibb has reimagined all 428 rooms. His
custom-designed furnishings reflect the natural materials and
landscape of Central Texas while artwork comes exclusively
from Texas artists. Floor-to-ceiling windows in every room
reveal calming views of Town Lake on one side and downtown
Austin on the other while thoughtful details such as plush
bedding, handmade bath products, and a minibar stocked
with local favorites complete the LINE ATX experience.

beverage that’s earned a world-class reputation. Bringing
together the best chefs, bartenders, and baristas, the
LINE ATX embraces Austin’s creative energy to bring an
elevated dining and entertainment experience to Austin.

LINE ATX delivers unrivaled service while panoramic
