PI Personality data are used to: Make effective hiring decisions based on their natural personality traits Help create personal goals and developmental objectives Increase awareness of a person’s natural strengths and motivations Why Do Predictive Index Surveys? Personality traits have a direct impact on job performance. Research indicates that 20 to 25% of a person’s effectiveness on the job is attributable to his/her personality. PI’s assessment of common personality attributes is valuable in understanding and predicting supervisory and managerial career progression. Predictive Index measures core personality traits such as dominance, extroversion, patience and formality. This information can be used to help coach staff to higher levels of performance. Personality assessments can yield important clues about a person’s behavioral style and provide critical insights. PRO: Use this personality-oriented job analysis tool to refine position profiles and competency models in light of job demands. To request a PI or Pro, do the following: 1. Email [email protected] : a. Your name, b. Chapter name for billing, c. Name and contact information of the person to contact for the consultation (if different from person submitting request), d. Applicant or employee first and last name and email address for who to send the PI or PRO. e. Position applicant/employee is applying for/employed in. 2. Someone at the NSC will process the request and follow-up for the consultation when the PI/PRO is completed. The PI costs $40 to administer and provide a consultation on the assessment. The PRO costs $15 each.
