Lenel ILS Overview The Lenel ILS Wireless Gateway provides a secure wireless connection between the OnGuard server and the wireless Lenel ILS locks. The wireless communication allows for OnGuard users the ability to make updates to the Lenel ILS locks without having to visit the door. The Wireless Gateway reports all critical events in real time. The purpose built wireless gateway is offered in three different configurations: standard Ethernet with plug in power adapter, POE Ethernet or 802.11b with plug in power adopter. Frequency Agility The Lenel ILS Wireless Gateway enlists frequency agility to provide the best possible wireless connection. Frequency agility allows for the Lenel ILS solution to adjust the wireless frequency on the 900 Mhz wireless spectrum, ensuring that the connection between the Lenel ILS lock and the OnGuard system is always connected. Wireless Gateway Features & Functionality ■ Purpose built Wireless Gateway for Lenel ILS locks ■ 32 Locks per Wireless Gateway ■ LAN connections – Direct, POE 802.11 ■ Lock communication – 900 Mhz ■ Frequency Agility ■ AES-128 bit encryption ■ LED status information. The LEDs shall detail the following information: ■ System Connection – Connection to OnGuard established ■ Wireless Network Traffic – Data transmission from the lock to the Wireless Gateway ■ Ethernet (or WiFi) Traffic – Data transmission from Wireless Gateway to OnGuard ■ Ethernet (or WiFi) Link – Connection established to network either Ethernet or WiFi
