Starbucks is known as the third place between your work
and home.
But what about your kids?
Breakfast is the most important meal of the
day, specially for children.
A balanced breakfast during childhood can
create the habit of eating healthily for your whole
life.
It also gives the children enough energy to focus on
school and prevents obesity.
Nowadays, with so many things to do and so little time, people tend
to not care enough about breakfast.
Parents don’t always have time to prepare a decente one for their
children, so they usually prepare a simple one or ask someone who works at the house to do it, and
the child usually eats really quick.
It shouldn’t be like this.
Kids should be able to enjoy a healthy breakfast in a peaceful way
so can they can enjoy their childhood better and grow up
healthier.
What if Starbucks could help?
Children haven’t been a focus of Starbucks until now, since they shouldn’t drink coffee. They do
have special kids’ drinks, but those are not strongly
promoted.For this reason, we created...
Starbucks’ “5 Stars” Combos
The “5 Stars Combos” are combinations of drinks, foods and desserts that, together,
form a perfect children’s breakfast.
The combos combine everything that a healthy breakfast has to have (carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals and fibers) with tasty flavors that the kids
will sure enjoy.
The combos will be sold in a lower price than if you put the individual products together, but there will be the option to
buy them separately.

The purpose of this contest is to “connect an audience to a product or a service from a global brand in a way that wasn’t possible five years ago”.
This campaign is a way to connect children to Starbucks and since we came up with the idea and worked together on it, it wouldn’t exist if we had never met each other.
Since we’ve only met this year, it wouldn’t be possible for this campaign to be created five years ago. Daniel Yoshida & Ingrid
