TEST-DRIVE
HOUSE CALL ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Increase dealership service capacity through the use of wiTECH 2.0 and a mobile hotspot. wiTECH 2.0 can be taken anywhere by using a mobile hotspot; no longer are technicians limited to diagnostics only inside the dealership. Some of the benefits of using a mobile hotspot include:
• Full diagnostic support available anywhere there is cellular coverage
• Program keys anywhere, on the dealership lot or the customer’s household
• Perform required flashes anywhere, on the dealership lot or at an off-site vehicle storage location
• Road test without having to use a laptop or cables
• Free up additional service bays inside the dealership performing diagnostics elsewhere

MOBILE HOTSPOT DATA USAGEFlashing, graphing data, and viewing data display are the most bandwidth-intensive activities on wiTECH 2.0. Flash file size varies between different ECUs.
Example: When using the graphing function, if the technician goes on an hour road test per week, they can expect to use 64 MB of data per month. Most diagnostic functions will use substantially less data than this scenario.
Once the flash has been downloaded to the microPod the first time, it will stay cached on the microPod, allowing for the same flash to be used on different vehicles without having to download the flash again.
There is currently no officially supported hotspot by Mopar. Some of the devices that have been found adequate are:
wiTECH 2.0 OPERATION
Graphing Data Items
Viewing Data Display
Viewing OBDII Monitors
General Diagnostics - Reviewing DTCs, Service Information, and Topology
PCM Flash
