Day 1 – 2: School – Hay – Spear Creek
• Depart school bright and early this morning and travel to Hay, stopping where and when necessary
• The next day you will continue onto Spear Creek
Day 3: Spear Creek – Coober Pedy
• Begin your day by travelling into the vast South Australian outback, to the opal capital of the world, Coober Pedy!
• This evening you will visit an underground home and church, followed by a opal polishing demonstration
Day 4: Coober Pedy – Uluru, Kata Tjuta National Park
• Head to Uluru, Kata Tjuta National Park; home to Ayers Rock! • On arrival you will set up camp and enjoy time to explore with your
teachers
Day 5: Uluru, Kata Tjuta National Park – Kings Canyon
• Continue your adventure to Kings Canyon; but first you will stop at the Mt Conner Lookout
• Arrive in Kings Canyon later this morning, and if time permits, try the Kings Creek Walk!
• This afternoon you will walk through Lilla’s Sacred Land
Day 6: Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
• This morning climb to the top of the canyon rim before heading to Alice Springs!
Day 7: Alice Springs
• This morning you will have a guided tour of the old Telegraph Station, the Royal Flying Doctor Service & School of the Air!
• This afternoon you will marvel at the unique flora and fauna in Alice Springs Desert Park before enjoying the Reptile Centre!
Day 8: Alice Springs – Tennant Creek
• Travel to Devil’s Marbles for a brief photo opportunity before arriving at Tennant Creek for the night
Day 9: Tennant Creek – Katherine Gorge
• Travel via Mataranka for a swim in the hot springs before arriving in Katherine Gorge!
Day 10: Katherine Gorge – Kakadu National Park
• This morning you will have a 2hr Nitnit Dreaming Two Gorge cultural cruise
• Head out this afternoon to Kakadu National Park
Day 11: Kakadu National Park
• Enjoy a self-guided visit to the Park Rangers Headquarters and Bowali Visitor Centre, Ubirr Art Site and Nourlangie Rock
• This afternoon you will enjoy a Yellow Waters Cruise
Day 12: Kakadu National Park – Darwin
• Head to Darwin this morning where you will enjoy entry to the Crocosaurus Cove Park!
• This afternoon you will enjoy time to explore with your teachers
Day 13: Darwin – Sydney
• You will head to the airport this morning to check in for your flight home!
• Arrive back in Sydney at 7pm this evening
