Woonona Bulli RSL is the perfect venue for a kids birthday party, being northern Illawarra’s premier family-friendly Club.

We have internal and external spaces that are suitable for kids parties which accommodate both children and adults alike.

We also have two play areas onsite to keep the kids occupied for hours.

Our functions coordinator will help take care of all the details to ensure your childs next party is how you imagined.

FUNCTION ROOM OPTIONS

Affordable Room Hire

The room hire must be paid to secure the room. Please refer to the booking form for further information.

AuditoriumThis room has a stage and dance floor. This room has its own bar and stage lighting. Extra lighting, audio visual and production facilities can be organised if required. Please note this will incur an extra cost.Capacity: Up to 750 people standing / 400 people seated. Room Hire: $200

The Governors InnThis room is situated to the left of reception away from the main area of the Club. This room has its own bar, dance floor, stage and audio visual and production facilities can be organised if required. Please note this will incur an extra cost.Capacity: Up to 120 people standing / 100 people seated.Room Hire: $100

GazeboThe Gazebo is an open outdoor area with a lawn area and kids outdoor play area. The Gazebo makes a wonderful area for a birthday party. Capacity: 40 – 80 guests (Depending on set up)Hire: $50

The VerandahThe Verandah is an alfresco function space, located directly outside our Hennessy coffee house. It is equipped with comfortable outdoor dining suites, lounge chairs and heaters for the cooler weather.This space is perfect for a relaxed, family friendly function.Capacity: 40 – 80 guests (Depending on set up)Space Hire: $100

- Cakeage $1 per person for cake cutting- Add $1 to be served with ice cream- Add 50 cents to be served with cream

Beverage OptionsIf you have over 50 guests attending, a bartender is complimentary.For functions with 50 guests and under, a bartender can be organised specifically for your guests for a per hour charge (minimum three hours):

- Weekdays $27 per hour- Saturdays $40 per hour- Sundays $50 per hour

Please let the functions coordinator know which option you would like to organise for beverages at your event. The options include:

- A beverage package- A dry till- Guests can purchase their own drinks

Sign In RegulationsNormal Club sign in rules and regulations apply with any person attending a function. All guests must be signed in by a member of the Club, if they reside within a 5km radius of the Club. The member is responsible for the guest they sign in and the guest must leave the Club if the member who signed them in leaves. Please kindly check with our reception team if you have any questions regarding this.

Dress RegulationsNormal dress regulations apply for any function held on the premises.

Please refer to our full list of dress regulations in the Members Notices section of our website.

Catering and BeveragesNo outside catering is permitted to be brought onto the premises. An exception is made for birthday and wedding cakes.No outside beverages are permitted to be brought onto the premises.Full bar service is available at Club prices. Members must present membership card for each transaction.

Members discount applies to financial club members only.

Room DecorationsYou are welcome to decorate the room for your function, however, all items are to be attached by Blu-Tac only unless otherwise advised. Please note that no confetti or streamers are allowed.

Hiring of Miscellaneous EquipmentMiscellaneous equipment, decorations, music, DJ’s or a Juke box can be organised by the person having the function to keep your costs down.

Alternatively, this can also be arranged by the Club, however a cost will be applied.

Please note your booking will be considered tentative until room hire fees are paid in full. All catering and other costs in relation to your function must be paid for in full at least seven (7) days prior to your function date.

Electronic presentations:Note: It is recommended that all presentations on a key drive be tested on our projector at least one (1) week prior to any function as we prefer to check that the formatting is compatible with our laptop/projector.

DIRECTIONS FOR FUNCTION COORDINATOR

Please send us your event running order sheet at least two (2) weeks prior (if necessary) so that we can go through this with you before your function/event.

Final numbers for catering are required two (2) weeks prior to your function/event and full payment must be made no later than seven (7) days prior to your function/event.

All 21st birthday parties require the organiser to pay for security (organised by the Club) for the entire period of the function. Security is charged at $55 per hour with a minimum charge of four (4) hours.

Please note: We do not take bookings for 18th birthday parties.

TERMS & CONDITIONS GOVERNING ALL FUNCTION BOOKINGS

Agreement - Woonona Bulli RSL Memorial Club Limited agree:1. ‘We’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means Woonona Bulli RSL Memorial Club Limited (A.C.N001059374) and ‘you’ or ‘your’ means the hirer.2. The Agreement comprises these Terms and Conditions and the Schedule. The Agreement cannot be changed unless we agree in writing. These Terms and Condi-tions override any terms and conditions you may wish to impose.3. The ‘premises’ means our functions rooms located at 455 Princes Highway Woonona NSW 2517.CLUB ENTRY4. All Guests attending an event at the Club are required to comply with the sign-in requirements of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW) or any other State or Federal legislation. Guests are advised to produce photo identification as proof of address upon entering the club.POLICY5. Woonona Bulli RSL Club practices Responsible Service of Alcohol. If any guests or delegates at a function are reaching intoxication or are under the legal drinking age, they will be refused alcoholic beverages. Breaching RSA laws incur fines of up to $5,500, both to the Club, to any one that is intoxicated and to any person supplying alcohol to an intoxicated or under age individual. In accordance with licensing laws, if a person is deemed intoxicated, they will be directed to leave the premises.SMOKING6. All function rooms are non-smoking. Outdoor smoking areas are easily accessed

from our function rooms and guests are allowed to smoke only in these outdoor areas. If guests do smoke inside and set off the clubs alarms, there is a $250 callout fee for the fire brigade that will be charged as an additional cost to the function. Further, if a person is found smoking within the Club, except the outdoor area, they will be asked to leave the Club as they have breached the tobacco laws.PREMISES7. We will make the premises available to you on the date(s) and time(s) specified in the Schedule.8. You and your employees, agents and invitees use and occupy the premises at your own risk.9. You must comply with and ensure that your employees, agents and invitees comply with this agreement and any rules or directions for the use of the premises advised by us from time to time.10. We reserve the right for us and our employees, agents to have free access to all parts of the premises at all times. PAYMENT - CONFIRMATION AND FINAL NUMBERS11. You must pay Woonona Bulli RSL Cluba. Room hire fees in full to secure this booking prior to the function date.b. All catering and other costs relating to your function must be paid for in full at least 7 days prior to your function. A penalty for a late change in the numbers may incur. Your payment options are: Cash, EFT, Bank Transfer, Visa or MasterCard. Personal cheques will only be accepted if payment is made 21 days prior to the function.CANCELLATION

12. In the event of a cancellation, costs will have been incurred in terms of rostered staff and food ordered. The costs of can-cellation are as follows and relate directly to the period of notice provided:a. One calendar month or more - full refundb. 14 days to 1 calendar month - 50% refund of depositc. Less than 14 days - no refundAll cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who organized the function.BEVERAGES13. If you have made a specific request for beverages the Club does not ordinarily provide and the Club had to order in spe-cifically for your function at your request, any refund of that component will be subject to the supplier accepting the stock for a credit. There will be a $50 admin-istrative charge by the Club to cover the administration and handling costs.DAMAGE14. The event organiser is responsible for the behaviour of the guests. Any damage reported will be assessed and payable by the organiser. In some circumstances we may request a $500 bond be charged.INDEMNITIES15. You are liable for and release and in-demnify us and our employees and agents against:a. loss or loss of use or damage or destruc-tion to the premises and our property; andb. any claim, demand, loss or cost in respect of personal injury, death or loss of use of or damage or destruction to any other property, caused by your breach of this Agreement, your negligence, wilful act

or omission, or the negligence, wilful act or omission of your employees, agents or invitees.INSURANCE16. You must not do or omit to do, or permit to be done or omit to be done, anything which might affect any insur-ance policies held by us in respect of the premises.17. If applicable, you must obtain and maintain the following insurance policies for the hire with a reputable insurer ap-proved by us;a. public liability insurance for not less than $20 million for each claim;b. workers compensation insurance as required by law; andc. loss or damage to your goods, equip-ment and materials on the premises for their full replacement value.18. If we ask, you must give us evidence of these insurances, including certificates of currency19. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any circumstances which result, or may result in a claim being made against us in respect of the use of the premises.ASSIGNMENT20. You cannot assign your rights under this Agreement without our permission, which we can refuse or condition in our sole discretion.TERMINATION21. We may terminate this Agreement immediately by giving written notice if you commit a serious breach of this Agree-ment. (In our opinion, acting reasonably). Otherwise, this Agreement will terminate at the end of the hire period.

Car Parking

Woonona Bulli RSL has ample free parking, the car park is accessed from Nicholson Road. We have 11 disabled car spaces onsite.

Disabled Access

We have access from the car park and the Club is all on one level making it easy to get around. We also have two wheelchairs available at reception for anyone that might need assistance getting around while they are at the club.

Smoking

We have a large deck area on the northern side of the club.This is accessible via doors in the main lounge to the right side of reception. Smoking is only permitted in this area.

No food is allowed to be consumed in any designated Smoking Area.
