Denim and Diamonds Gala Helps Keep the Dream AliveFundraising for Cerro Coso is one of the primary purposes of the CCCC Foundation and has been an important and appreciated source of finan-cial support for the college and our students for many years. Last year the CCCC Foundation awarded more than $58,000 in scholarships to Cerro Coso students, thanks to the generosity of our staff and commu-nity, keeping the dream of a college education alive for many of those students. This year’s Denim and Diamonds Gala is coming up on Satur-day, February 28, 2015 at the Kerr McGee Center and I personally invite all of you to bring your family and friends and experience firsthand the pride they show in supporting our students.The lavish silent and live auctions will boast items such as balloon rides, jewelry, gift baskets, and plenty of exciting trip packages and dining ex-periences.
