ReportNet Overview
Public Folders contains the FITS Reports.
My Folders contains user created reports. These reports are only visible to the user. Copies of the reports can be saved here too. More details are provided later in the manual.

Country Plan, Fcast,Act Closures by Period Used to compare Closure pipeline, AOP and “Best Guess” outlook
Country Plan, Fcast,Act Gross Openings by Period Used to compare Gross Opening pipeline, AOP and “Best Guess” outlook
Country Plan, Fcast,Act Relocations by Period Used to compare Relocation pipeline, AOP and “Best Guess” Outlook

Pipeline Counts–Closures Used to view the count of projects at each milestone for Closures

FITS Reports (Con’t)
New Report View Wizard allows you to save a copy of the report to another folder such as
My Folders.
Click on Icon
Name the report
Add a description (optional)
Choose Location
Click Finish
Schedule allows you to schedule reports.
FITS reports are found in Public Folders.
Run report: Click report itself or blue arrow. The following slide will give introduction on the difference between clicking report itself and blue arrow.

Notes:
• You should always use New Report View Wizard to save all your reports to My Folders, instead of running in public folder directly. The reasons are
It allows you to schedule your own reports
It gives you more choices to manipulate your reports
• If you want, you can still run reports in Public Folders directly as described in item 4 below.
• Save report to My Folders using New Report View Wizard
• Set Report Properties• Run/Schedule Reports• View Reports
Notes: The first 2 steps are just one-time actions for the first time you use a particular report.
Run report in My Folders
Click Finish button to accept the above update and close the wizard
If you want to stop proceeding, You can click Cancel button.
Specify report Name that you want to be showed in
My Folders. The name must be unique.
Click Radio Box beside My Folders.
New Report View Wizard
Set Properties of report in My Folders
Click Properties button
Specify default report Output Format. You may use PDF
or Excel 2000 frequently. But I would suggest using PDF
as default.
Set default Prompt values and deselect Prompt for
values. This allows you to save the specific set of
data you would like to see in the report.
Click OK to save above selections. Cancel to ignore all
the selections and go back to My Folders

Click Blue Arrow to run report

Select one of the Deliver choices.
Click Run to run report based on the selection that you
made. Cancel will ignore the selection and go back to My
Folders

Set Frequency of execution of reports
Set the Start and End date/time for this schedule. End date/time is set as No End
Date as default
Set Delivery Methods
Clicking OK to accept above selection to set up a schedule, Cancel will ignore all
selection and go back to My Folders.

Miscellaneous features in My Folders
Different layout of view on web page Create folder in My Folders so
that you can organize report by year, bmu,minibmu, country,etc.
One of useful functions inside is that you can copy report and give different name
• These reports contain the detailed milestone forecasts for the projects which are selected– There are separate reports for Openings,
Closures, and Remodels– These reports can be used to guide team
meetings to discuss project planning
“Project Listing” Reports

Select BMU(s).
Click Select all to select all BMUs, Click Deselect all to deselect all BMUs that have been selected previously.
If you want to select only several BMUs, You can use Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click.
Click the Next> button to go to next page.
If you want to stop proceeding, You can click Cancel button.

Click Select all to select all MiniBMUs, Click Deselect all to deselect all MiniBMUs that have been selected previously.

Under list box, Click Select all to select all Countries, Click Deselect all to deselect all Countries that have been selected previously.
If you want to select part of Countries, You can use Shift+Click or Ctrl+Click.

• These reports can be used to provide a snapshot of project counts at each milestone– It uses the “Current Milestone” to categorize the
projects in your pipeline– You can compare the movement of your pipeline
from month to month– There are separate “Pipeline Counts” reports for
Openings, Closures and Remodels

• These reports can be used to compare the counts of projects for each period from your pipeline of actual projects, your AOP and your “Best Guess” outlook– The counts for the Actual YTD and “Pipeline” are calculated
using the individual data in FITS, for all projects with a completion forecast date in that particular period.
– The counts for the AOP and “Best Guess” lines are calculated using the data input by the Directors in the AOP Planning screen (not from any individual project data)
• You can chart your team’s actual YTD progress and pipeline strength against your targets and judge BOY risk by making on-going comparisons
