Our school fall picture day is scheduled for September 12th. Students are to wear the regular school
day uniform. No PE uniforms should be worn on picture day.
All checks should be made payable to “Lifetouch.” This can NOT be added to your FACTS tuition

Yankee Candle Fundraiser Yankee Candle fundraising packets went home last week. Additional packets are available in the school office. All order forms should be turned in by September 28th. Daisy Girl Scout Troop #4981
What:
Calling all grade K-1 girls who are interested in becoming Daisy Girl Scouts. No previous girl scout experience is required.
**Two leaders are needed for Daisy Troop 4981.** No experience is needed. There is online Daisy training available thru www.GSCNC.org . Meeting times are held at the discretion of the troop leaders. If you are interested in being a leader you will need to register as a Girl Scout as well (see below for link). If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Heatwole (Daisy troop leader from 2016-2018) at [email protected]. She has the Daisy handbook and the troop bank information.

Girl Scout National Registration - Your daughter also needs to be registered online at www.GSCNC.org. She must be a registered member to attend meetings. This also requires a $25 fee, payable directly online. Do not include this on your troop dues check.
Health Form - This is different than the St. Francis Health Form. Health Form will need to be provided to the Daisy leader prior to the first meeting. Your daughter cannot stay for a meeting without one.

Brownie Girl Scout Troop #4431
What:
Calling all grade 2-3 girls who are interested in becoming Brownie Girl Scouts. No previous girl scout experience is required.
When:
The troop will meet every other Friday from 1:30-2:30pm at ST Francis of Assisi school (room location TBD). Our first meeting will be on Friday, 12 October at 1:30pm (school room location to be provided).
How:
Troop Registration - Email Your Daughter’s interest in joining to [email protected] and [email protected] (Ainsley Teague’s and Alex Heatwole's moms). Troop dues are $25 for the year and are due at the first meeting. Please make checks out to Troop 4431.
Girl Scout National Registration - Your daughter also needs to be registered online at www.GSCNC.org. She must be a registered member to attend meetings. This also requires a $25 fee, payable directly online. Do not include this on your troop dues check.

Junior Girl Scout Troop #3968
What:
Calling all grade 4-5 girls who are interested in becoming Junior Girl Scouts. No previous girl scout experience is required. Troop meetings will include numerous volunteer and community outreach opportunities.
When:
Meetings will be held the first Monday of the month from 5-6:30pm at St Francis in the 4th-grade classroom. We will also have monthly outings (hiking, camping, etc).

Cadette Girl Scout Troop #18036
What:
Calling all grade 6-8 girls who are interested in becoming Cadette Girl Scouts. No previous girl scout experience is required. Troop meetings will include numerous volunteer and community outreach opportunities.
When:
The troop will meet 1 to 2 times a month, generally on Friday afternoons or weekends.
Our first formal meeting will be on Saturday, 13 October at 10am. We will meet at the playground in Locust Shade Park. The Cadettes will vote on the activities and charity work they would like to do this year. After, we will pick up litter in the park, and the girls will earn a back of the best charity badge for their efforts.

Our donated items will be brought to Woodbridge Savers where they will be weighed. We are paid by the pound, so the more we collect the more we get! Our
collection goal is 400 bags/boxes of donated items. Proceeds from this event will go towards St. Francis of Assisi School’s Robotics and Sports programs.
