"The Town of Midland does not adopt or condone anything said in correspondence or communications provided to it or its Council, and does not warrant the accuracy of statements made in such correspondence or communications. The Town believes it has a duty to ensure that its proceedings and deliberations are transparent, and that it foster public debate on issues of concern. One of the steps it takes to carry out this duty is to, wherever possible, make the material in its Council Information Packages available on its website."

From: Federal Gas Tax Program <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2018 2:43:35 PM To: Gord McKay Cc: John Skorobohacz; Susan Turnbull Subject: AMO's 2017 report on the federal Gas Tax Fund Dear Gordon,
I'm pleased to announce that AMO's annual report on the federal Gas Tax Fund is now available. I encourage you to share this report with your local Council.
Our communities own and operate much of Ontario's infrastructure; the Fund provides permanent and stable funding to help us build and maintain it. In 2017 alone, we invested $607 million from the Fund to rebuild roads, install energy‐efficient upgrades, and more.
The Town of Midland has invested $4.2 million in 11 infrastructure and capacity‐building projects worth $10.9 million since the federal Gas Tax Fund was established in 2005.
AMO is proud to administer the federal Gas Tax Fund on behalf of Ontario's municipalities. Please feel free to contact AMO's Director of Membership Centre, Brian Rosborough, at 416‐971‐9856 or [email protected] if you have any questions about the Fund or this report. Sincerely, Jamie McGarvey AMO President c. John Skorobohacz, Chief Administrative Officer c. Susan Turnbull, Director of Finance/Treasurer
