WE PASSED T E ORI
In a letter to unit co a ders, Brig. Gen. Ar hur U Ishimoto, ANGCom ander said,
"The successful attainment in passing our first F-4 ORIreflects quite well for the dedication, diligence, and deter inationdisplayed by all involved in our coaversion from Deuces to F-4s. I amaware of the tremendous efforts of our guardsmen. Success could not have beenachieved without selfless devotion to duty and true professionalism
"The two day ORI event, while a trying e perience, did v lidateA G's readiness to perform its assig ed mission. The key to readinessis preparation and planning--premium factors which were ostensiblyrecognized by the PAC F score c rd , a few of which included "outstanding"
and "excellent" ratings for the 154th CAI ON and both GCI sites."Please convey my cong atulations to ll ANG perso el who in their
own unique manner contributed to the satisfactory rating achieved forhis PACAF ORI."
Colonel Ja s Ashford, 154th Com ander, added his co ents to 154th
units and said,"Please add my th nks and congratula ions to all your
personnel for their great perfo nce during the past ORI You h ve sho nyour capability o perform your mission should the security of ournation ever be threatened.
