 Is the capital of Quindío, a department in Colombia.

 Armenia is a mid-size city located between Bogotá, Medellín and Cali, the 3 largest Colombian cities.

 It’s average temperature is between 18 °C- 22 °C.

It's one of the three that forms the Colombian Coffee-Growers Axis.

The local economy main trade is still based on the production of coffee, plantainsand bananas.

Colombian National Coffee Park, is a theme park dedicated to meticulous process of growing coffee and bringing it to the table for enjoyment is a major landmark. The park has all sorts of attractions for all ages.

In the park you can enjoy the best and safest mechanical attractions that are carefully prepared for you and your children.

Theme attractions were children and parents can share live shows, unique playground areas and tale characteres.

People really like the cable car, the roller coaster and other attractions.

COFFEE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IN THE REGION, BECAUSE IT IS THE BASE OF ECONOMY.

Panaca was founded on December 7th in 1999.

Panaca is one of the most popular places in Quindío, because it has differents stations, like ranching, horseback riding and many pedigrees dogs.

TYPICAL FOOD OF ARMENIA-

QUINDÌO

Claw beans with pork, served with meat, rice, plantains, avocado, egg, sausage, and sweet plantain create this amazing kitchen called bandeja paisa.

The corn pudding sweetened with panela cheese or aguapanelita are drinks. The corn arepas with cheese, pancakes with sour cream, the solteritas, wafers with cream milk, strawberry and fluffy Guanábana cheese and figs.

BAMBUCO is a type of dance very popular in Quindio and in Colombia  

People like these dance because are cultural and historical.

Bambuco rhytms are played with guitar and other strings instruments and also with  percussion  instruments 

The costumes are very flamboyants and brilliants

Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest and the state of washington 

Seattle is bigger than Armenia.

Seattle is  the major economic, cultural and educational center in the region, and Armenia is the coffee capital.
