Codes & Conventions• Advertisements are used today to promote and sell a product/service to the audience.

Advertisements have strong messages to the audience, this being serious, funny or something which relates to them. Advertisements are used everywhere to make people aware of what is on the market and this is shown through TV adverts, Billboards, posters etc. TV adverts are the most popular and are most popular during the evening as this is when majority of people are free to watch TV after work.
