First 1000 Days A Catholic Culture of Life Initiative

Sunday April 24, 2016 Where All Are Welcomed and Loved With Mercy - Day 406

When infants are held and touched in soothing ways, they tend to thrive. Warm, responsive care seems to have a

protective function, to some extent "immunizing" an infant against the effects of stress experienced later in life.

Attention College Bound Seniors Don’t be one of the 80% of Catholics who stop practicing their

faith while away at school. Get connected now and stay connected with other Catholic students by enrolling in

first-hand stories from our neighbors every weekend. Volunteering is easy and does not require a big time commitment. We serve a hot home-cooked meal every Sunday night and St. Juan Diego

rotates the responsibility with 7 other groups. We are proud to say we just celebrated our 11th year anniversary and 100,000th meal

served to those in our community! If you’d like to hear more information about how you can get involved, email Catherine

Moore at Moorefun99@comcast.net. Or Barb Upson at bbupson@frontier.com>
