A Business Ministry Program

The Free Grocery Project has been developed to help churches and outreach organizations support their programs that provide food and services to those in need.

Prayer: "God of love, fill a hungry belly. Please bring bread, real bread, to feed your hungry children struggling with getting enough to eat. Let us be Your hands in the world, that no one may cry out for food and remain empty, in Your Holy name. Amen.“

The problem will never go away. Government will not solve the problem for us. We just have to decide what we are going to do about it.

Why some food ministries are closing…

Unemployment, home foreclosures, repossessions, and bankruptcy are at record highs. Families on tight budgets. Increasing demand for food assistance.

Food prices are on the rise. Major food chains have cut prices thereby reducing the

discount offered to food ministries. The Commodities Market (corn, wheat, etc.) used for food

products and to feed animals is rising rapidly. Russia is importing heavily due to devastating fires

destroying much of their grain. Food companies are selling their overstocks (in short supply

due to cut backs) to secondary markets in US and foreign markets.
