How effective is the combination of your main products and ancillary texts?

When creating my media products i wanted the magazine cover and the film poster to have a relationship so that they could be identified with one another i did this by using the same font but designed differently

The theme of colour used in my magazine cover and poster can also be linked to themes of colour used in my trailer such as the black and red used in my film.

I believe the different locations i used were very effective at night and gave of the horror conventions that induce fear and anticipation. And i believe my font used correlates with this

Another way i wanted to show link between my magazine cover and film poster was by using the book which is one of the antagonist in the in both of them. This would allow the audience to make a kink between all three media products

I n my opinion the ancillary task had more of an effect on the horror genre that i was trying to depict ie the knife, the book and the protagonist facial expression as it looks like she's running
