How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

For my teaser trailer, the colour scheme I used was red and white. Red signified passion, and white represented peace and harmony. I used these particular colours as they emphasised the true

meaning of love. For my poster , I used black and blue . Blue representing depth and stability, trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, and truth. Black is for the representation for elegance, formality and

mystery. My magazine cover has the colour scheme of white, red, and blue. All for the same reasons as

stated above.

COLOURS

LIGHTING The use of bright lighting used in my teaser trailer, poster and

magazine cover helps to convey the genre of romance.

CHARACTER My main characters, are both Hannah and Terique. They are both seen

throughout the teaser trailer. Also both characters are seen in my poster, however only Hannah is seen in my magazine front cover for an

exclusive interview. This ensure the audience know what to expect form the movie itself.

FONT The font that I have used in my teaser trailer and my magazine is

Lucida Handwriting as this provides sophistication and elegance. This is part of my initial idea for the film.

Is it effective as a combination?

• Overall, I believe colour, lighting, character and font, does play a role in making the movie seem interesting and certainly makes it much more appealing to the audience.
