CONVENTION Greetings to all. Please accept my sincere thanks for contributing of your time and services toward making the 2012 NED Fall Convention a terrific success. The compliments from the NED Officers, the CT, the Judges, the audience, the contestants and others, have been accepted on your behalf. Please know that this event depends upon consolidated team work by volunteers, and you were there.! Naming names would not be in order, but you all know who you are and what, and how much you gave. We even made it through some glitches, some things we had to even go off-campus to accomplish, you were there. It was a ride. Thanks for being part of that ride.

THE OVER THE HILL GANG met for lunch on the 23rd at Pat's Pizza. Fourteen fellows showed up and this ties the record attendance set some years ago at the Downeast Village. Present were Marshall Wagner, Bob Turner, Lin Billings, Wally Duplessie, Bud Mosley, Larry Newth, Dave Sweet, Dave Burns, Manen Clements, Ray Houlden, Max Brandt, Curt Roberts, Wayne Newland, and Dick Wheeler. All attacked their meals with vigor. The next meeting will be held in April.

NED District Contest PHOTOS! Already?

Photo by Steve Salamin - Keene, NH "Can YOU believe it?" The performance photos are NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE! Already! What a fabulous weekend of harmony and being with friends and family! Superb performances! Congratulations to ALL the competitors - each and every member of a quartet and/or chorus - and especially to our champions. 1396 photos were snapped in all - over this past weekend. Most appear online now and were retouched for adjustments to exposure, lighting and/or size. If the action was grand and notable, more pictures appear. The albums are public. Please go to my Picasa Web photo albums (at Google): <https://picasaweb.google.com/singsalamin> https://picasaweb.google.com/singsalamin You are welcome to freely use these ONLINE images - just down select "Actions >> Download Photo". I would appreciate a tiny line of credit when and wherever used: "Photo(s) by Steve Salamin - Keene, NH". Do you need a FULL-SIZE COPY? These past weekend photos posted online at Picasa are low-resolution (72 dpi) at 640x427 or 800x600 pixels -- good for web/sharing uses, not good to print.

Page 6: 10/26/2012 Soundings Weekly

To order a full-size original digital image, please select my 'Profile' blue-link (above, upper right) and then find "Send A Message" to order. I need the photo image number. To find the photo image name/number: select photo to enlarge, on that display, find "Photo Information" on the right. All I need is the 4-digit number (e.g. 6785) in the filename. In an attempt to recoup some of my weekend expenses - I am now asking for a donation/fee of only $10 - please - for each FULL-SIZE ORIGINAL digital image you wish to use. The full-size image is ideal to edit and use for PRINT production purposes. We can discuss the fee upon ordering - especially if you wish many photos. I do NOT want this donation/fee to inhibit you from using the images for publicity purposes, please. Then, if possible, I would appreciate a tiny line of credit when and wherever used: "Photo(s) by Steve Salamin - Keene, NH". Again - congratulations to the official "champions." Everyone was a winner this weekend ... wonderful performances, LOTS of talent - and camaraderie! Barbershop Harmony rocks! Thanks to ALL for your support of barbershop harmony in our great Northeastern District! Have a great week!
