Music with a Mission concert Sept 14th

First on behalf of the Music with a Mission committee I want to thank The Downeasters for an absolutely wonderful performance Saturday night. The audience was truly appreciative of our music, which was reflected by the standing ovation at the end of our comp package. Most of us who had a chance to talk to people at the intermission can testify to the wonderful comments about our chorus.  Mark Bryant who was there representing the Windham Neighbors Helping Neighbors also asked me to thank the chorus for the wonderful concert and for selecting the WNHN as the charity to support.  This was one of the most successful concerts of the series if not the most enjoyable, according to many.  We raised almost a thousand dollars to be shared between the NWUC and WNHN. I believe we also raised an awareness in many of the pleasure and joy that comes from Barbershop harmony.  Job well done and thank you all.  I am proud to be a Downeaster  Wally
