General CampLOWER CAMP, MIDDLE CAMP, UPPER CAMP, SENIOR CAMP
Pre-Kindergarten Through a balance of organized
and self-directed activities, our Pre-K program engages campers with their peers while allowing them to express their own creativity. Mature staff trained in early childhood education provide ongoing opportunities for social and individual growth. Three year old groups have a 1:4 counselor to camper ratio, while four year olds have a 1:5 counselor to camper ratio.

Kindergarten Our kindergarten program offers campers
new levels of challenge and instruction within a small and supportive environment. In addition to our primary Lower Camp activities, the daily High 5 program introduces campers to exciting new activities such as woodworking and martial arts led by our trained, adult specialists. Campers are given a free swim choice period each day.

Middle Camp GRADES 1–2
A nurturing, full day program offering campers a wide variety of activity choices. Middle Camp is a close-knit community where friendships are fostered and social skills are developed. Counselors offer guidance and support as campers discover new interests and develop new talents.

Upper Camp GRADES 3–4
The Upper Camp program continues to offer campers the camaraderie and support of a group while giving them more individualized choice. Campers engage in our widest range of activities including athletics, performing arts, adventure/challenge, and visual arts—all of which are led by trained, adult specialists.

Senior Camp GRADES 5–8
Senior Camp is designed to meet the needs of our oldest campers with an emphasis on camper choice and greater program depth. Senior campers customize their day with morning and afternoon electives.

• 90 minute morning extended electives
• 3 afternoon elective periods with dozens of options
• Weekly field trips to different destinations including Water County, United Skates of America, Canobie Lake Park and area beaches
• Creative and Spirited Theme Days, such as Hunger Games, held each session.
SENIOR CAMP EXTENDED ELECTIVES
Ceramics Intensive discover and perfect the many ways to work with clay
Sports Medley non-stop action in flag football, soccer, basketball, and baseball
Swim Team master your strokes and compete against each other and other camps
Yoga and Fitness develop strength, endurance, flexibility, and mindfulness

Specialty CampsARTS ADVENTURES
TRIPS, TREKS, AND TOURS SPORTS CHALLENGES
BEAVER OFF-BROADWAY (GRADES 4–7)
Our specialty drama program provides campers with a two week intensive opportunity to produce and act in an original musical. Through participation in a variety of skits, games, and rehearsals, campers build confidence and enhance their composure on stage. Two week sessions. July 8–August 16
WALKER’S WOODSHOP (GRADES 4–7)
Our hands-on carpentry program guides campers in the design and creation of their own piece of furniture. With a strong emphasis on safety, campers develop skills in measurement, construction and finishing techniques. One week sessions. July 15–August 9
BUILDING THE BAND: LET’S JAM (GRADES 4–8)
In partnership with Jammin’ With You, our new specialty music camp is for all aspiring rock stars. Each one week session brings campers together to
sing, write songs, jam, choreograph their stage presence, and develop their image on their way to delivering a memorable Friday concert for family and friends. All instruments and ability levels are welcome. One week sessions. July 22–August 16
STUDIO ART (GRADES 4–7)
Campers explore a wide range of art forms through a variety of different projects in a small group setting. The curriculum includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and much more. One week sessions. July 8–August 2
BOSTON CHILDREN’S CIRCUS (GRADES 3–9)
Our unique circus arts program introduces and develops a wide variety of skills in acrobatics, wire walking, aerial fabrics, tumbling, clowning and juggling. Both sessions conclude with a Friday performance for family and friends. Two week sessions. July 22–August 16
Arts AdventuresArts Adventures are specialty programs that provide campers with unique and intensive experiences in the arts. Whether visual or performing, all programs are characterized by experienced instruction, close supervision, and outstanding, state-of-the-art facilities.

INTO THE WOODS—Level I and II (GRADES 2–6)
Our one week nature program engages campers in the outdoor world through active daytrips to various local habitats. Typical activities include canoeing a nearby river, visiting the zoo, harvesting berries, or exploring coastal tide pools. Campers develop a greater appreciation for the environment as they have fun and discover new places together. One week sessions. June 24–August 16
PEAK AND PADDLE—Level I and II (GRADES 4–8)
Our outdoor adventure program immerses campers in hiking and paddling activities throughout New England. Each two week session offers a combination of backpacking, overnight camping, rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking. Small groups of campers are guided by trained staff as they safely explore the great outdoors. More challenging and progressively longer trips are offered to Level II campers. Two week sessions. June 24–August 2
EXTREME SPORTS (GRADES 5–8)
An adrenaline-filled program that challenges campers through unique daily adventures. Action-packed destinations include wind tunnel sky diving, surfing, paintball, paddle boarding, and mountain biking. See website for specific schedules. One week sessions. June 24–August 16
MOUNTAIN BIKING ADVENTURES (GRADES 5–8)
Enjoy the freedom and excitement of riding your bike through the woods and trails of local riding destinations. Guided by experienced staff, campers safely develop and improve their riding skills in a fun, non-competitive environment. Each day culminates with a swim at a nearby lake or ocean beach. Campers must provide their own bikes and helmets. One week sessions. August 5–16
DAYTRIPPERS (GRADES 4–7)
Daily, recreational adventures to destinations around the area such as Canobie Lake Park, Water Country, United Skates of America, ocean beaches, kayaking on the Charles River and campers’ favorite Six Flags. One week sessions. June 24–August 16
Trips, Treks, and ToursOne week sessions or two, day trips or overnights, challenging or moderate, more nature-oriented or recreational—choose the program that’s the best fit for you.

TRI-STAR SOCCER (GRADES K–8)
Our soccer camp emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the excitement of competition in a safe environment. Morning session emphasizes basic skills (shooting, passing, dribbling, heading, etc.), while the afternoon is spent putting those skills to work in tactical game play. Half day and full day options available. One week sessions. June 24–July 19
ALL SPORTS (GRADES 2–6)
Our multi-sports camp is for boys and girls who love to be active all day, but don’t want to focus on one particular sport. Campers participate in a variety of sports each day where they receive instruction in basic skills, engage in creative drills, and then participate in team competitions. The action-packed schedule includes soccer, flag football, basketball, baseball, ga-ga, street hockey, and daily instructional swim. Though fun will be the “name of the game”, campers will be coached in everything it takes to be a valuable team player—respect, cooperation, and good sportsmanship. One week sessions. July 22–August 2
Sports ChallengesThese specialty programs offer campers an opportunity to receive skilled instruction in an appropriately challenging athletic environment.

EXTENDED DAY
We offer both morning and afternoon extended day for families who need to stretch their camper’s day. Drop off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as 6:00 pm. The morning program offers a relaxed atmosphere where campers play games, eat breakfast, or talk with counselors. The morning program offers breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere with counselors or more active play in our Get-Up-and-Go fitness activities. Extended Day is offered in one week sessions, but also by the day.
ACADEMIC TUTORING
We have partnered with Russell Education to offer tutoring for campers who need summer academic support with minimal disruption to their camp schedule. Expert, one-on-one instruction in a nurturing atmosphere makes our tutoring program a unique addition to your child’s Beaver experience. Together with Russell Education, parents may design an indi-vidualized program that will help develop skills in virtually any area, including reading comprehension, writing, math, handwriting, and/or organization. The program serves children entering grades 1–8 who are enrolled in our General Camp program.
PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONSCampers have the opportunity to arrange for private music lessons with our partner, Jammin’ With You. Lessons can be arranged for most instruments, including voice, at all levels. Lessons take place after camp or with minimal disruption during the camp day.
FAMILY SWIM CLUB
For families looking to swim outside of camp hours in a convenient location and low-key environment, join our Family Swim Club. Club members have access to our three heated swimming pools on weekdays after camp and during the weekends from June 10–August 25.
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM (GRADES 8–10)
Our leadership training program serves mature teens who are seriously interested in working with children. Skills such as behavior management, team-building, communication, and activity leadership are developed through hands-on opportunities to assist counselors in meaningful work with campers. Program emphasizes team-building and includes occasional field trips and an overnight. Four week sessions. June 24–August 16
Additional Programs
LUNCH AND SNACK
To help make your life easier, we provide all campers with a morning snack and lunch each day. Our menu offers nutritious, camper-friendly lunches that include a hot entree with healthy sides, a salad bar, fresh fruit, and a dessert. In addition, deli sandwiches and bagels are available daily as an alternative. Please make sure to note all food allergies on your camper’s health form and to call the Camp Office to discuss any dietary restrictions.
