Bible Reading: Matthew 20:1-16; Acts 27:1-26; Psalm 44; Leviticus 18-20
In this parable, The Parable of the Laborers, each laborer,regardless of when they started, finishes the same. Theyeach received the same wage. Each believer will enjoy thesame blessings of heaven regardless of how long they havebeen a Christian. Such is the grace of God. Pray and thank
God for His grace in your life.
Bible Reading: Matthew 20:17-34; Acts 27:27-44; Psalm 45; Leviticus 21-23
Matthew 20:17-34 shows us the contrast between the“selfish Christianity” of the disciples and the self-givingway of our Lord. Notice the self-centered request of thedisciples. Notice what Jesus teaches and says about Him-self in verses 26-28. Finally, see how He demonstratesthis when He heals the two blind men in the following
verses (29-34). Our Lord was constantly selfless, evenwhen His followers were consumed with their own glory.Pray that the Lord would convict you when you resemblethe disciples in their selfishness. Ask Him also to giveyou and increased heart of service and compassion forthose who are weak.

In response to yesterday’s text (John 2:1-12), the discipleswere already committed to following Christ. However,after seeing this first miracle, they believed in Him. Thelife of a believer is one where our belief/faith grows stron-ger because of the more we know about our Lord. Pray
today that God would continue to grow you in knowledgeof Him. Additionally, identify areas of your life where youmay be weak in faith. Ask the Lord to strengthen yourtrust in Him.
