Next year the company aspires to have a booth and demonstrate new technologies at GITEX.

“GITEX is a fantastic value for money forum for new

ELM, a leading provider of innovative electronic solutions and government support services, has launched four innovative e-services during the 35th edition of GITEX Technology Week, the largest information and communication technology event in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

The new services address the public and private sectors’ needs for advanced electronic solutions that save time and effort in completing official procedures while adhering to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, reliability and transparency. Among ELM services launched at GITEX 2015 is ‘Tasreeh’ which

is of particular importance as an integrated e-service designed to meet the requirements of eligibility management. It enables customers of government agencies and private companies to issue entry permits as per regulations and policies through an advanced web portal.

‘Data Management’ Service, on the other hand, primarily focuses on ensuring high quality data in line with the digital transformation. It converts paper data into digital data and generates periodic reports that help in building the strategy more accurately and rapidly, and analyses performance measurements.

As for ‹Human Resources,› the Cloud integrated modern techniques service that was created by ELM, it allows for better management of human resource-focused aspect of operation like salaries. Meanwhile, ‹Muqeem› service was developed for the management of residents and the Wage protection system which required by ministry of labours, which can be accessed via a single gateway from any point online. The service clearly shows the exact costs of development and maintenance avoiding any extra hidden costs to provide the customer with the highest accuracy in terms of budget management and data protection of security concerns and technical issues.

Majid Alarifi, Marketing Manager at ELM, noted that the reveal of the upgraded version of “Estihkak” service offers additional benefits, such as access to basic data, management and modification of the terms of maturity, and connection with multiple sources. It has a robust technical infrastructure for data processing, efficiently facilitates the application process, and possesses flexible engine simulation maturities. The KSA’s several social services platforms are successfully using Estihkak.

‘Estihkak’ has been providing more than 3 million electronic

transactions per month, through connections of 40 multiple sources of the data-developing a flexible engine for simulations of maturity, which facilitated procedures and the provision of services in accordance with an electronic innovative infrastructure technology for data processing. The upgraded version of ‘Estihkak’ provides many features such as technical support and system customers’ management and objections in addition to the follow-up performance reports.

“The new services revealed during the GITEX 2015 are in response to the growing demand and huge potential of integrated e-solutions within the Saudi market, particularly in terms of IT services which have generated sales of 6.1 billion SR over the current year. Our previous successes have driven us to continue innovating and developing highly advanced e-services.” said Majid Alarifi.

Majid Alarifi, extended the invitation for those interested in the technology to visit ELM pavilion. He added that ELM’s presence at the 35th edition of Gitex 2015 complements the success of last year’s participation, which enjoyed remarkable interest from pioneers, decision-makers, senior government officials and private sector companies.

ELM unveils four new services for accelerating KSA’s e-transformation

Secure Broadcast demonstrates video enhancement technologySecure Broadcast has developed a sophisticated multi-layer video and media platform that enables large organisations to create, manage and distribute HD video content instantly, securely and globally across TV and mobile devices, and is demonstrating this technology at GITEX 2015

Using a sophisticated new video enhancement technology, the proprietary player can transform standard video into a

HD TV-worthy experience. Companies can showcase their own professional TV content with the addition of automatic

branding, real time data visualisation and live text feeds.

Secure Broadcast offers companies the ability to run their own TV network, complete with an in-house broadcast media centre. A mobile production suite enables everyone in the organisation to capture, edit and distribute video content in real-time at the touch of a button.

The platform uses military grade encryption to protect your content. Tiered access provides a lockdown of content and information, giving companies complete control over their digital media.

“We are currently working with a number of global companies in the aviation, financial and engineering sectors and are looking forward to introducing the world’s first secure, real-time broadcast platform for business at GITEX.” Helen Lennon, CEO.

“We put every company behind the lens with their own tablet based Media Production Studio,” said Steve Walsh, Secure

Broadcast’s Chief Technical Officer. “The platform incorporates an easy to use - yet extremely powerful - video production suite, allowing you to add bespoke branding and enhancements to any video, resulting in broadcast quality production in just a few simple steps.”

This ground-breaking platform is the result of five years R&D by an elite, international team of software engineers, developers, coders, film production specialists and graphic designers. Secure Broadcast solves the complicated process of archiving, creating and sharing HD quality broadcast and content for mobiles and TV.

Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) announced its new smart services, most notably the ‘mClass’ smart hotel classification and the ‘Sharjah’ Mobile App in seven languages, to enhance the tourism experience in Sharjah as it began its active participation at the 35th edition of GITEX Technology Week 2015 in Dubai from October 18 to 22, 2015.

Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA,

described GITEX as an ideal platform for government entities to inform the public about their latest smart services aligned to UAE Smart Government goals to save people’s time and effort and contribute to sustainable development process.

H.E. Al Midfa said the smart services provided by the Authority come under the Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021 which has adopted an innovative approach to tourism as a key pillar of the Vision. “Based on this pillar, SCTDA has offered smart

services and solutions for the tourism sector in the emirate, and comprehensive information and facilities to visitors to make their visit a memorable experience,” H.E. Al Midfa added.

The Authority announced on the first day of GITEX Technology Week its ‘mClass’ smart hotel classification application, marking a qualitative leap in the classification of its 105 hospitality facilities. The new smart application, which will be available for download on mobile phones, enhances interaction with hotels

and evaluates their performance based on guest reviews.

On the occasion, SCTDA will launch its ‘Sharjah’ Mobile App which will be available in seven languages. It will also offer its ‘Sharjah Perfect Days’ app in seven languages to enable tourists to smart plan their Sharjah visit.

SCTDA showcased its existing smart applications, notably ‘Sharjah My Destination’ tourism portal that is currently available in seven languages. The portal provides comprehensive information to visitors and investors about the emirate of Sharjah and its major tourist locations. It also provides details about the major events and activities organised across the year in the emirate as well as its most important shopping destinations. The portal contains the latest facts and figures about the tourism sector in the emirate and facilities offered to investors.

SCTDA also highlighted at GITEX Technology Week its Interactive Touchscreens offered at hotel facilities in the emirate. The touchscreens provide visitors detailed information in seven languages about Sharjah’s diverse tourism products as well as its cultural centres, geographical details and universities and restaurants.
