From the Pastor’s Desk Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Epiphany means “revelation,” “appearance”, or “manifestation.” The Epiphany of a new era was anticipated by earlier Epiphanies that we celebrate at the end of the Christ-mas season. First, the visitors came to the babe of Bethlehem. Luke tells us of the shepherds who paid homage to the infant king. They were Jews who belonged to the lowliest strata of society–rough, unlearned, and very poor. On the other hand, Matthew tells us of wise men from the East who came with very costly gifts. These visitors were pagan Gentiles--learned, wealthy, and from the most prominent class of society. So even in the first days of his life, this child was manifested as the Divine King who had come for everyone, without distinction. An Epiphany.
For years this child grew without being noticed. He became a man who worked quietly with his hands. But there came a time when God gave us more Epiphanies. Many were baptized by John, but only upon Jesus did a dove descend. Because only he was the Son of God destined to baptize people of every tribe, tongue, people, and nation with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2). Many were invited to the wedding feast at Cana (Jn 2), but only Jesus turned water into wine. The vessels used to contain the water turned wine were not chosen by accident–they were stone jars used in purification rituals of Jewish law. For this was an Epiphany, not only of who Jesus was, but what he had come to do–change the water of the old law into the rich wine of the new dispensation.
These three events are what the Church commemorates in the Feast of the Epiphany. But it is not enough to celebrate this feast with family and friends. We are called to in-vite all to join the family, make everyone Christ’s “friends.” The inheritance belongs to the entire human race. We have no right to keep it to ourselves.

Epifanía significa " revelación", "apariencia" o "manifestación". La epifanía de una nueva era fue anticipado por Epifanías anteriores que celebramos al final de la temporada de Navidad. En primer lugar, los visitantes del niño de Belén. Lucas nos dice de los pastores que pagaron homenaje al rey recién nacido. Fueron Los Judíos que pertenecían a los estratos más baja de la sociedad – sin cultura, ignorantes, y los muy pobres. Por otro lado, Mateo nos dice de los hombres sabios de Oriente que vienen con muy costosos regalos. Estos visitantes son gentiles paganos - eruditos, ricos y de la clase más importante de la sociedad. Así que incluso en los primeros días de su vida, este niño se manifestó como el rey divino que había llegado para todos, sin distinción. Una Epifanía.
Durante años, este niño creció sin ser notado. Se convirtió en un hombre que trabajaba en silencio con las manos. Pero llegó un momento en que Dios nos dio más epifanías. Muchos fueron bautizados por Juan, pero sólo sobre Jesús hizo un descenso paloma .. Debido a que sólo él era el Hijo de Dios ha destinado para bautizar a la gente de toda tribu, lengua, pueblo y nación con el Espíritu Santo (Hechos 2). Muchos de ellos fueron invitados a la fiesta de bodas de Caná (Jn 2), pero sólo Jesús convirtió el agua en vino. Los recipientes utilizados para contener el vino convertido el agua no fueron escogidos por tinajas de piedra de ac-cidentes - que eran utilizados en rituales de purificación de la ley judía. Para esto fue una epifanía, no sólo de quién era Jesús, pero lo que había venido a hacer - cambiar el agua de la antigua ley en el rico vino de la nueva dispensación.
Estos tres eventos son lo que la Iglesia conmemora la fiesta de la Epifanía. Pero no es sufi-ciente para celebrar esta fiesta con familiares y amigos. Estamos llamados a invitar a todos a unirse a la familia, hacer todos de Cristo "amigos. " La herencia pertenece a toda la raza humana. No tenemos derecho a mantener a nosotros mismos.

Wylej na nas dar Twojego Ducha Świętego,abyśmy potrafili:
wyraźnie Cię usłyszeć, z uwagą słuchać jedni drugich, śmiało marzyć o przyszłości,
mądrze rozeznawać Twoje wskazania, odważnie trwać w pełnieniu Twojej świętej woli,
łączyć się w dobroczynności, bez wahania rezygnować ze swoich planów,
aby przyjmować większe dobro i przekazywać Twoje dary przyszłym pokoleniom.
Trwajmy w świętym gronieNajświętszej Maryi Dziewicy, apostołów i wszystkich świętych.

Od proboszcza biurka Drodzy Bracia i Siostry w Chrystusie,
Objawienie oznacza ukazanie się lub manifestacje. Objawienie nowej ery było poprzedzo-ne wczesniejszymi objawieniami, ktore swiętujemy pod koniec okresu Bozego Narodze-nia. Po pierwsze goście, którzy odwiedzili Dzieciątko w Betejem. Łukasz opowiada nam o pasterzach, ktorzy oddali pokłon królewskiemui Dzieciątku. Byli oni Żydami należącymi do najniższej klasy społecznej – szorstcy, niewykształceni i bardzo biedni. Z drugiej strony, Mateusz mówi nam o mędrcach ze Wschodu, którzy przyszli z cennymi skarbami. Co goście są poganami – wykształceni, bogaci i należący do prominentnej klasy społecznej. A więc od pierwszych dni swego życia, to Dzieciątko zostało objawione jako Boski Król, który przyszedł dla wszystkich, bez różnicy. Objawienie.
Przez lata to Dzieciątko wzrastało bez wzbudzania uwagi. Stał się mężczyzną, pracującym cicho włąsnymi rękoma. Przyszedł czas, w którym Bóg podarował nam więcje obajwień, wielu było ochrzczonych przez Jana, ale tylko na Jezusa zstąpiła gołębica. Ponieważ tylko On był Synem Boga przeznaczonym do chrzczenia ludzi wszystkich szczepów, językó, lu-dów i narodów Duchem Świętym (Dzieje Apostolskie 2). Wielu było zaproszonych na wesele w Kanie (Jan2), lecz tylko Jezus przemienił wodę w wino. Naczynia do gromadzenia wody, która stałą sięwinem, nie były wybrane przypadkowo – były to kamiene dzbany używane do obyć rytualnych w prawie żydowskim. To było objawienie, nie tylk o o tym kim Jezus był, lecz również, co On miał zrobić – zmienić wodę starego prawa w bogate wino nowego wyboru.
Te trzy objawienia są świętowane w święto Obajwienia Pańskiego. Nie wystarczy jednak świętować tego z rodziną i przyjaciółmi. Jesteśmy zaproszeni by stać się członkami rodziny, uczynić wszystkich przyjaciółmi Chrystusa. Dziedzictwo należy do całej ludzkiej rodziny. Nie mamy prawa zatrzymywać go tylko dla siebie.

old-fashioned home cooking. We are still in need of one of our most basic foods, white rice. Your donations in December helped us out a lot, but this is one of our favorites, so it goes out as fast
as it comes in. It seems that once again, we don't have much of this left in the pantry. Please help us out during the month of
