• The airborne internet provides a system architecture that integrates COTS and IP protocols and services to provide secure, high-speed digital , two way communications, air to air and air to ground.

• The Airborne Internet Collaboration Group charter is to promote the concept and national value of airborne, peer-to-peer communications open to public and private sector participants.
